Powder bed 3D printing processes for producing elastic molded silicone articles and silicone resin-containing powders suitable for the processes are provided. The processes comprise: a) layer-by-layer spreading of a powder in a powder bed 3D apparatus, wherein the powder contains a silicone resin of formula (I); b) applying a crosslinker solution to the layer of a) according to a printing pattern for the elastic molded article, wherein the crosslinker solution comprises a hydrosilylation catalyst and a silicone oil of the general formula (II); c) repeating a) and b) according to the printing pattern for the elastic molded body; and d) removing of the non-crosslinked powder.

A device for producing a 3D-printed active substance-releasing system with active substance depots, such that a radiation source in operation causes a polymerisation of a layer of the base material on the construction platform and that an inkjet printhead incorporates an active substance mixture, which has at least one active substance, into the base material in a locationally selective manner. A trough is provided, in which a base material and a construction platform are arranged, and polymerising selected regions of a layer of the base material on the construction platform and introducing, by means of an inkjet printing method, an active substance mixture, which has at least one active substance, into the base material and/or polymerised base material in a locationally selective manner in order to thereby create active ingredient depots in the active ingredient-releasing system.

Method and device for the extrusion of thermomechanically deformable materials, as well as a compact screw extruder. The configuration of the material infeed in a screw extruder, has a significantly smaller length-diameter ratio than known solutions from the fields of injection moulding and additive manufacturing and a crushing tool, located in the funnel-shaped infeed region of the vertically arranged screw extruder which prevents the rotational movement of the material in the funnel, and also thereby forces movement in the conveying direction of the screw extruder in combination with the gradient of the screw flanks. In addition, a portion of the coarse material is crushed, whereby the bulk material density is increased in the region of the screw and less air must be pressed out of the material in the region of the plasticization and homogenization zone.

Device and method for the extrusion of thermo-mechanically deformable materials in bulk form, and compact screw extruder

It is provided an extruder for a system for the additive manufacture of freely formable metal parts with or without a supporting structure by means of an extrusion method from a composite material, which is arranged on a three-dimensionally movable kinematic mechanism, with a building platform. The extruder consists of a housing and a screw arranged in the housing. The extruder is provided with a mechanical drive for the composite material to be extruded, with an exchangeable nozzle, arranged on the housing, and the housing is connected to the mechanical drive by way of suitable means for transporting the composite material.
