A retaining device of a water sport device has a drive, which is preferably designed as an electromechanical or electropneumatic drive and via which the foil device can be transitioned from a resting and/or starting position into the operating position and/or from the operating position into the resting and/or starting position. The actuation can take place manually by a person operating the water sport device. The water sport device may already be lowered into knee-deep water near the shore or beach, for example, and guided or driven there in the direction of deeper water. As soon as sufficiently deep water has been reached, the foil device can be transitioned into the operating position, which is at a greater distance from the floating body, by means of the drive. This process can take place automatically when a specifiable or set water depth has been reached or by the release on the part of the person using the water sport device.

A water sports apparatus is provided, and includes a propulsion device which is provided for the propulsion of the water sports apparatus and whose motor, arranged on the float-body side, is connected in terms of drive to at least one propulsion element via an angularly and/or longitudinally movable propulsion train. The angularly and/or longitudinally movable propulsion train allows the propulsion element to be positioned optimally on the body-of-water side. The motor is arranged in a region which does not cause any body-of-water-side resistance in the operating position with a float body lifted off from the water surface. That part of the water sports apparatus which is situated in the water is optimized with regard to the design which is relevant to flow resistance in the water.

A water sports device is provided, and includes at least one propulsion device which has at least one motor. The motor can be controlled by a control unit and is provided for propelling the water sports device. The parts of the propulsion device are arranged on sides of the foil and/or retaining device or—if separate connection elements are arranged between these two devices—between these two devices, and can be moved with the foil device from a starting and/or resting position into the operating position and back. In order to propel or pull the water sports device, the device has its own propulsion device. This is part of the retaining and/or foil device, which can move relative to the floating body, in that at least one propulsion element in the form of a propeller or impeller accelerating water against the principal direction of movement is moved with the respective device (retaining and/or foil device).

An underwater motor module for a water sports device is provided, which forms at least one flow channel each having at least one inlet opening and an outlet opening. The underwater motor module has a motor which is in the form of an internal rotor motor and comprises a hollow rotor, which concomitantly forms the flow channel by way of its inner side. On the outer side of the motor directed away from the flow channel is mounted outside the flow channel, and which bears blades. The motor also comprises an external stator arranged in a housing.

The invention further relates to a system for monitoring pipes having a plurality of security devices having a receiving station for receiving the security device signals, preferably repeatable by means of a repeater, and an electronic data processor designed for analyzing the signals and for out-putting an alarm signal.

A pipeline has a first pipe and a second pipe welded together by a weld seam, wherein the first and second pipes each have an inner side with a lining section of plastic material for protecting an inner side of the pipeline. The lining sections end at a spacing from the weld seam. The lining section of the first pipe abuts the lining section of the second pipe such that by an undercut provided on at least one of the lining sections a fill space is formed in a circumferential direction of the pipeline.

The functional unit acquires measured data and the drive elements are forced by a magnetic field generated by the functional unit against the surface of the pipeline.
