The invention relates to a gas conducting device for internal combustion engines, notably motor vehicle engines, comprising a pressure line ( ), a fresh-gas line ( ) supplying fresh gas, a discharge line ( ) and an orifice ( ) which opens into the fresh gas line ( ) and the discharge line ( ). At least the pressure line ( ) and the orifice ( ) are connected via a control element ( ) for the metered addition of gas. A compensating unit ( A; A; ) is provided for so as to compensate forces which act on the control element ( ) as a result of a pressure difference (p -p ; p -p ) between the gas pressure on the compressed gas side (p ; p ) and the fresh gas side (p ; p ).

Gas conducting device

An exhaust gas recirculation device for recirculating exhaust gas into a gas feed to engines, especially motor vehicle engines, having an exhaust gas feed, a fresh gas feed and an outlet duct opening into the gas feed, where at least the exhaust gas feed and the fresh gas feed are interconnected via a control means for metering exhaust gas and, on the side of the control means facing the fresh gas feed, there is arranged a pressure plate which minimizes the influence of pressure fluctuations that occur on the exhaust gas side and the fresh gas side and have an effect on the exhaust gas throughput.

Exhaust gas recirculation device

In the embodiments disclosed in the specification, an oil supply system for an internal combustion engine having an oil pan includes an oil reservoir located above the oil pan and an ascending line between the oil pan and the reservoir for delivering excess oil from the oil pan into the oil reservoir using blow-by gases produced in the engine and a flow path for resupplying used oil from the oil reservoir into the oil pan. The oil to be delivered to the individual parts of the engine for cooling and lubricating is supplied from the oil pan by a pumped delivery line and the amount of oil maintained in the oil pan is as small as possible.

In the representative piston cooling system for an internal combustion engine described in the specification, an evaporation coolant is sprayed on the rear side of a piston by at least one nozzle and the coolant vapor is removed from the crankcase through a blow-by line passing to a condenser which supplies condensed coolant to a coolant reservoir from which the blow-by gases are conveyed to the intake manifold of the internal combustion engine by way of a connecting line.
