An electrical connecting apparatus has the following features: a current or data transmitter device which can be connected to at least one current-transmitting or pulse-transmitting source, is arranged in a transmitter housing and has contact elements. A current-receiving or data-receiving device which can be electrically connected to a load or consumer is arranged in a receiver housing and has contact elements. Current, pulses or data can be transferred between the contact elements, which are in the form of flat contacts with touching surfaces, by connecting the current or data transmitter device to the current-receiving or data-receiving device. A multiplicity of contact elements of at least one of the two devices are held next to one another in a holding body. The contact elements which are held in the holding body are elastically mounted. The contact elements rest on a pressing link on the side facing away from the contact elements of the other device.

Device for establishing an electrical connection

The invention relates to a method for producing an electrical connection of sub-assemblies and modules to a current supply device, which is provided with electric contact elements and magnetic bodies. According to said method, magnetic bodies of a consumer, which is provided with electric counter-contacts, are arranged opposite the magnetic bodies of the current supply device with opposing poles. In a first step, a mechanical connection is made using an approximate guide mechanism and in a second step, electrical contact is made between the contact elements and the counter-contacts using a precise guide mechanism in an automatic manner by means of the magnetic bodies of the current supply unit and the consumer.

Method and device for producing an electrical connection of sub-assemblies and modules

An electrical connecting device has the following features: a current or data transmitter device which can be connected to at least one current-transmitting or pulse-transmitting source is arranged in a transmitter housing and has contact elements. A current receiving or data receiving device, which can be electrically connected to a load or a consumer is arranged in a receiver housing and has contact elements. A current, pulse or data transfer can be produced between the contact elements (which are in the form of flat contacts with touching surfaces) by connection of the current or data transmitter device to the current receiving or data receiving device. A large number of contact elements of at least one of the two devices are arranged alongside one another in a configuration in the form of an array. The contact elements which are inserted into the configuration in the form of an array are elastically mounted. The configuration in the form of an array rests on a pressing link.

Electric connecting device

An electromechanical connecting device comprises a current supply housing and a current tap housing, each with contact surfaces. The current supply housing is provided with a moving magnet carriage with current contacts. The magnet carriage on the current supply housing and on the current tap housing are both provided with magnets. A permanent magnet is arranged in the current supply housing on the side opposing the current tap housing. The current supply housing and the current tap housing may be forcibly connected and disconnected by a rotating device with a turning motion. The contact surfaces of the current supply housing and the current tap housing make contact earlier than the contact surfaces of the current supply housing and the magnet carriage on connection of the current supply housing and the current tap housing and on disconnection are in contact longer.
