Vehicle seat

The invention relates to a vehicle seat with a seat part and with a seat back part for supporting a driver of the vehicle in the sitting position on the vehicle seat, wherein the vehicle seat has an additional vehicle driver's torso support device which can be disposed outside the seat part and the seat back and which can be temporarily disposed at least partially in an otherwise seat-free torso support region in front of the seat back part and laterally and/or above the seat back part, in order to provide support, laterally off-center of the seat back part, at least at the level of the shoulder region of the driver who is sitting on the vehicle seat when he adopts a seated working posture oriented to the side or backwards, and wherein the additional vehicle driver's torso support device comprises a seat back extension device which is disposed on the seat back part () so as to be movable in translation along a horizontal axis in order to be able to move the additional vehicle driver's torso support device substantially horizontally from an approximately central starting position into an off-center additional torso support position.

The invention relates to an arm rest arrangement for a seat, in particular for a vehicle seat, with an arm rest which is pivotably connected by means of a bearing axis to an arm rest support, wherein a latching and adjusting device is provided for setting an angle of inclination between the arm rest and the arm rest support in a usage position and for folding down the arm rest from the usage position into a non-usage position, wherein the latching and adjusting device is mounted so as to be rotatable in a rotary element within a housing of the armrest and the latching and adjusting device is mounted so as to be rotatable about its longitudinal axis (L) in the housing for setting of the angle of inclination.

Arm rest arrangement for a seat, in particular for a vehicle seat

The invention relates to a headrest () for a vehicle seat, comprising a central part () containing a cushion support and a cushion that is held on top of a seat back by means of at least one support rod, the front region of said headrest having a head support region (). The cushion support is optionally pivotally mounted about a horizontal pivoting axis (x). A respective lateral part () is pivotally mounted on each side of the head support region (), about a displacement axis (y), which extends respectively in a lateral direction in relation to the central part () and which is located in the upper region of the central part (). The displacement axis (y) extends obliquely at a first angle (a) to the pivoting axis (x) and to a horizontal projection plane that is common to the pivoting axis (x) and backwards (h) in relation to the head support region (), the displacement axis (y) being situated on a horizontal plane that runs parallel to the pivoting axis (x).

Headrest for a vehicle seat

The invention relates to a motor vehicle seat comprising a base frame for attachment to a motor vehicle and also comprising a seat frame and a backrest frame which are adjustably attached to the base frame and are compulsorily coupled by a synchronisation device in such a way that, during a movement of the backrest frame relative to the base frame, a compulsory pivoting movement of the seat frame takes place. The synchronisation device is designed for a non-proportional pivoting movement of the seat frame during a movement of the backrest frame.

Seat with ergomechanics

A seat for a person has a seat part adapted to be fixed in a vehicle and having an upper seating surface on which the person sits, and a seat back extending upward from a rear edge of the seating surface and having a front surface adapted to be leaned against by the person in the seat, facing forward in a vehicle travel direction, and extending upward to an upper region that is upholstered and on a level to engage the head of the person in the seat. The upper region of the seat back is formed with a hollow having a forwardly directed rear surface and a pair of flanking side surfaces extending forward in the direction from outer edges of the rear surface. The side surfaces are horizontally spaced transverse to the direction so as to spacedly flank the head of the person in the seat.

A vehicle seat includes a backrest with a forearm support carried thereon at the rear side thereof, the aim being to improve the level of comfort for the user of the seat in a position of facing rearwardly.

Seat

A sprung vehicle seat has a base member and a top member, and a scissor support assembly operatively disposed therebetween. The scissor support assembly comprises first and second pivotably interconnected scissor levers. Secured to the first scissor levers is a sliding guide in the form of a plate member which is oriented in the longitudinal direction of the seat. A spring member bears against the sliding guide and the top member and is displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the seat for the purposes of weight adjustment of the seat.

Described is a vehicle seat having a safety belt which can be extended from a belt retractor. The belt retractor is mounted to one side of the vehicle seat. A belt end portion which projects from the belt retractor is provided with a spring hook means. An engagement element for retainingly receiving the spring hook means is disposed at the second side of the vehicle seat.

A driver restraint device is provided for an industrial truck which has a driver's seat. The driver restraint device has a belt (4) and a belt buckle (8). A closing latch (5) which is connected to the belt (4) can be fastened to the belt buckle (8). The belt (4) can be automatically retracted by means of a retractor (9), whereby when the belt (4) is retracted, the closing latch (5) is in a defined inoperative position. The belt (4) is fastened to a mounting device which is connected to the driver's seat so that when the closing latch (5) is in the defined inoperative position, it is located in front of a vertical transverse plane (12) which divides the seat surface (1) of the driver's seat in the middle. In an additional embodiment of the invention, the belt buckle (8) is fastened to a mounting device which is connected to the driver's seat so that the belt buckle (8) is located in front of a vertical transverse plane (12) which divides the seat surface (1) of the driver's seat in the middle. In one configuration of the invention, the closing latch (5) in the defined inoperative position is at some distance above the horizontal plane defined by a seat surface (1) of the driver's seat.

Driver restraint device for an industrial truck

A driver restraint device for an industrial truck with a driver's seat has at least one restraining guard, for which an inoperative position and a restraining position are provided. During operation of the industrial truck, the restraining guard is in the restraining position, whereby it can be moved toward an inoperative position against a bias force. The restraining guard can be locked in position by a tripping device which detects a tipping of the industrial truck.
