A transmission apparatus for wireless transmission of an MPEG-TS (Transport Stream) compatible data stream, according to the Wi-Fi Display Technical Specification of the Wi-Fi Alliance, e.g., in the Version 1.1.0 (Miracast) to a receiver apparatus. The transmission apparatus is provided with a terminal for receiving an MPEG-TS compatible data stream, and is further adapted to wirelessly transmit a first IP address characterizing the transmission apparatus to a receiver apparatus according to the Wi-Fi Display Technical Specification of the Wi-Fi Alliance, e.g., in the Version 1.1.0 (Miracast). The transmission apparatus is also adapted to combine the first IP address with the MPEG TS compatible data stream before wireless transmission to the receiver apparatus. The transmission apparatus is further adapted to allow the receiver apparatus to receive an external IP data stream from an external signal source, and is adapted to wirelessly transmit a second address to the receiver apparatus, the second address characterizing the external signal source. A receiver apparatus according to the Wi-Fi Display Technical Specification of the Wi-Fi Alliance, e.g., in the Version 1.1.0 (Miracast), is provided for receiving the external IP data stream.

Transmission apparatus for wireless transmission on an MPEG-TS (transport stream) compatible data stream

A mobile radio device, a base station, a transmitter network, a method, a software module, and a server for improving transmission and/or reception quality, wherein, according to a main aspect, a mobile radio device is proposed for communication in a mobile radio network, wherein the mobile radio device is configured such as to operate in a mobile radio network and to communicate by way of mobile radio signals which are allocated to the mobile radio device, wherein the mobile radio device is further configured in order, as a function of a test result, to amplify mobile radio signals between a base station and at least one further mobile radio device, in order to improve reception quality and/or transmission quality of the mobile radio signals.

A transmitter network is provided with at least two transmitters which transmit in a same frequency range. In a unicast-transmission mode of the transmitter, the transmitters transmit unicast information packets (UC) in subsequent first time intervals. The at least two transmitters further simultaneously transmit in a broadcast mode or multicast mode, respectively, broadcast- or multicast information (BC/MC) in second time intervals that lie in between first time intervals, the broadcast information or multicast information, respectively, transmitted by the transmitters in a second time interval being substantially equal and being transmitted by the transmitters substantially time synchronous. Provided is a transmitter for the wireless transmission of an additional information signal, which is configured to transmit the additional information signal in response to a control signal that corresponds to a transmission time within a guard interval of a wirelessly transmitted primary information signal originating from another transmitter, the transmitter being adapted to wirelessly transmit the additional information signal at the transmission time within the guard interval of the primary information signal. Transmitter, method, device, receiver and computer product for the wireless transmission of additional information signals

A receiver arrangement for receiving a wirelessly transmitted HF transmission signal includes a first conversion unit for converting the HF transmission signal into a baseband information signal. Furthermore, an extraction unit is provided for extracting IQ data from the baseband information signal. A second conversion unit converts the IQ data into a further transmission signal. Additionally, a transmitter is provided for wirelessly transmitting the further transmission signal to a consumer electronics receiver unit. For normal reception of the HF transmission signal, the consumer electronics receiver unit is provided with a first antenna arrangement for receiving the HF transmission signal, and further includes a first signal processing stage for converting the HF transmission signal into IQ data, which are comprised in the HF transmission signal, and a second signal conversion stage for processing the IQ data into an output information signal of the consumer electronics receiver unit.

A transmission arrangement for wireless transmission of an MPEG2-TS (Transport Stream) compatible datastream is provided with a signal source for supplying the MPEG2-TS compatible datastream, and an arrangement for wirelessly transmitting the MPEG2-TS compatible datastream. The signal source includes an arrangement for receiving an MPEG2-TS compatible datastream, which datastream includes a plurality of video- and/or audio information signals, and is further provided with a selection arrangement which is adapted to (i) derive only one video- and/or audio information signal from the MPEG2-TS compatible datastream having the plurality of video- and/or audio information signals, (ii) generate an MPEG2-TS compatible datastream which includes this only one video- and/or audio information signal, and (iii) supply this datastream as MPEG2 TS compatible output datastream to an output of the signal source. The transmission arrangement is capable of transmitting a video- and/or audio information signal available in the form of an MPEG2-TS compatible datastream.

FDM based broadcast transmitter arrangement for transmitting a digital audio/video information signal, wherein an encoded version of the digital audio/video information signal is encapsulated in a network layer encapsulation step in accordance with DAB, DVB-T or DVB-T2 to obtain a network layer information signal. The network layer information signal is then converted in a Data Link Layer conversion step to obtain a Data Link Layer information signal, which is subjected in a Physical Layer conversion step to obtain a broadcast information transmission signal.
