A sanitary insert, which is arranged in a water line, is provided. The sanitary insert includes a mixing device with at least one throttling or closing element, which can be moved under the pressure of the inflowing water from a mixing or open position into a throttling or closed position against a restoring force. The mixing device offers a relatively large clear flow cross section when the at least one throttling or closing element in the mixing or open position, and, by contrast thereto, a reduced clear flow cross section when the at least one throttling or closing element is in the throttling or closed position. The installation element always offers an optimum flow cross section both in low and high pressure ranges.

Sanitary installation element

A sanitary fixture is provided having an upstream end and a downstream end, the sanitary fixture includes a mounting housing having a thread which is matingly engagable with a thread provided on a water outlet of a sanitary outlet fitting. The mounting housing has a downstream housing end side with flow-through holes. At least one insertion part can be inserted into the mounting housing as far as an insertion stop. The fixture includes an aerated jet regulator which is configured such that a circumferential wall of the mounting housing includes at least one aeration duct at least in a subregion of at least a double-walled configuration. The at least one aeration duct, which is arranged towards the downstream housing end side, opens out in at least one aeration opening leading into a housing interior of the mounting housing.

Sanitary installment part

The invention relates to a sanitary functional unit (), which has a housing (), which can be releasably fastened to the water outlet of a sanitary outlet fitting, the housing () having an outflow-side housing end face () with outflow openings (). It is characterizing for the functional unit according to the invention that the outflow-side housing end face () has at least one slot (), the opposing longitudinal sides () of which slot are designed as turning engagement surfaces or tool engagement surfaces for a turning tool that can be releasably inserted into the at least one slot () and is preferably formed as a coin (), and that the housing () of the functional unit () is rotatably held on the water outlet of the outlet fitting and/or the housing end face is mounted rotatably in relation to the housing on said housing. With the assistance of the slot () provided on the housing end face () and the assigned turning tool, it is possible, for example, for a housing end face () that is pivotably mounted in the housing to be easily aligned and/or for the turning force that is required for fitting and removing a screw connection provided between the outer housing periphery and the inner fitting periphery to be conveniently transferred to the housing () without special turning tools being necessary.

Sanitary functional unit

The invention relates to a sanitary installation element () which is arranged in a water line. The installation element () according to the invention comprises a mixing device () with at least one throttling or closing element (), which throttling or closing element () can be moved under the pressure of the inflowing water from a mixing or open position into a throttling or closed position against a restoring force, wherein the mixing device () offers a relatively large clear flow cross section when the at least one throttling or closing element () in the mixing or open position, and, by contrast thereto, a reduced clear flow cross section when the at least one throttling or closing element () is in the throttling or closed position. The installation element according to the invention is distinguished in that it always offers an optimum flow cross section both in low and high pressure ranges.

Sanitary installation part

A jet regulator includes a ring-shaped or sleeve-shaped jet regulator housing, the outlet face side of which is formed as a perforated, grate and/or mesh structure with throughflow openings bordered by flow-guiding walls. The perforated, grate and/or mesh structure on the outlet face side is produced at least in regions and at least on the surface from a manually deformable dimensionally elastic plastic material. The outlet face side of the jet regulator housing is in the form of an outlet disk which can be inserted into the jet regulator housing and which bears the perforated, grate and/or mesh structure. The separate configuration of the outlet disk on the one hand and the jet regulator housing on the other hand facilitates the separate production of said jet regulator constituents even from materials which cannot be welded or otherwise connected to one another, if appropriate in different production processes.

Jet regulator

A sanitary fixture () is provided having a mounting housing () which has a thread () for fastening to a mating thread provided on the water outlet of a sanitary outlet fitting. The mounting housing () has a downstream housing end side () with flow-through holes (), and wherein at least one insertion part can be inserted into the mounting housing () as far as an insertion stop. According to one of the solution proposals described here, it is provided that the fixture () has an aerated jet regulator () or is configured as such, that the circumferential wall of the mounting housing () borders at least one aeration duct () at least in a subregion of at least double-walled configuration, and that the at least one aeration duct (), which is open towards the downstream housing end side (), opens out in at least one aeration opening () leading into the housing interior of the mounting housing.

A water outlet fitting with a handleable water outlet () and with a flexible hose line () which can be connected to the water outlet () via a coupling (). A characteristic feature of the water outlet fitting according to the invention is that the coupling (), which is provided for connecting the water outlet () and hose line (), has a ball-and-socket joint (). The ball-and-socket joint () connected between the water outlet () and the hose line () not only increases the mobility and articulation between the water outlet () and the flexible hose line (), but the ball-and-socket joint () also permits the water outlet () to be rotated relative to the hose line () without having to be concerned that the screw connection or similar coupling () provided between the water outlet () and hose line () will become undone.

A manual spray head can be connected with a flexible hose line by means of a coupling that has a ball-and-socket joint inserted between the manual spray head and the hose line. This arrangement not only increases the mobility and flexibility between the manual spray head and the flexible hose line, but also permits twisting of the manual spray head relative to the hose line without fear of unscrewing the screw-type connection or similar coupling provided between the manual spray head and the hose line.

A jet regulator (), including an annular or sheath-shaped jet regulator housing (), the outlet end face () of which is designed as a hole structure, grate structure, and/or mesh structure having passage openings () surrounded by flow-guiding walls, wherein the hole structure, grate structure, and/or mesh structure on the outlet end face is made of a manually deformable, dimensionally elastic plastic material () at least in some sections and at least at the surface. The jet regulator () according to the invention is characterized in that the outlet end face () of the jet regulator housing () is designed as an outlet disk () that can be inserted into the jet regulator housing () and that supports the hole structure, grate structure, and/or mesh structure. The separate design of the outlet disk () and of the jet regulator housing () makes it easier to separately produce said jet regulator components () even from materials that cannot be welded or otherwise connected to each other, optionally in different production methods.

A plumbing outlet armature () with a liquid guide (), which opens into a fitting outlet () in an area in which a plumbing functional unit () in the form of an insertion cartridge is provided. The outlet fitting is provided such that the clear open cross-section of the liquid guide () is adapted to the insertion cartridge () at least in the opening area of the fitting outlet (), and the insertion cartridge () can be inserted into the fitting outlet () from the opening side and is removably held therein. The inventive outlet armature is characterized by the insertion cartridge being removably held in the fitting outlet () by a sleeve-shaped intermediate holder (), which intermediate holder itself is removably held in the fitting outlet () by a screw or bayonet connection. The inventive outlet fitting () can be used with a jet regulator or with another plumbing functional unit () without any significant limitations of the structural clearance.
