A power module for a power converter includes a first busbar with a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface, a first semiconductor component on the first surface of the first busbar, which semiconductor component has a first surface with a first electrical surface contact connection and is connected, via the first surface contact connection, to the first surface of the first busbar in an electrically conductive and mechanical fashion over an area, and a second semiconductor component on the second surface of the first busbar, which semiconductor component has a first surface with a first electrical surface contact connection and is connected, via the first surface contact connection of the second semiconductor component, to the second surface of the first busbar in an electrically conductive and mechanical fashion over an area.

Power module, power converter and drive arrangement with a power module

A connecting device electrically connects electrical lines to electrical contacts. The connecting device includes a flexible circuit board or printed circuit board, a base support and a cover. The electrical lines are disposed on the flexible circuit board. The flexible circuit board has a contact-making region, in which at least one electrical line is electrically connected to at least one electrical contact. The electrical contacts are disposed on the base support. The flexible circuit board is disposed between the base support and the cover. The base support and the cover form a sealed housing of the contact-making region. The circuit board and the cover are each composed of a flexible material, and the physical material properties of the circuit board and of the cover are substantially identical.

Connecting device for connecting electrical lines to electrical contacts

A power module includes at least one carrier body for mounting at least one power component thereon, and at least one energy storage component. For this purpose, a hybrid circuit is arranged as a thick film circuit on at least one of the carrier bodies, and the hybrid circuit includes at least one thick film resistor as a discharging resistor for discharging the at least one energy storage component. The power module is adapted for use as a power converter for electric motors.

Power module

A power module is suggested having a simple and cost-effective arrangement and ensuring a reliable operation. To this end, a circuit arrangement comprising at least one electronic component is arranged on a carrier body. A conductor pattern is formed on the top side of the carrier body, and a structured cooling element made of the material of the carrier body, is provided on the bottom side. The invention also relates to a power module as power converter for electric motors.

An electric drive unit includes an electronic control and monitoring module integrally connected to an electric motor. The housing of the electric motor has a double-walled construction to form a water jacket with cooling water passages therein. The electronic module includes at least one high power component that requires cooling. This component is mounted directly on a cooling insert that extends through a recess in the electronic module housing and is inserted in an opening provided in the outer wall of the motor housing. In this manner, the cooling insert is integrated into the water jacket of the motor housing and is directly cooled by the cooling water flowing in the cooling passages. A very compact and reliable construction is achieved, in which the electric motor and the electronic module share a common water cooling circuit. External water hoses and external electrical connections between the electric motor and the electronic module are avoided.
