Shading device for a transparent surface part of a motor vehicle having a flexible shading structure, two non-parallel lateral guide arrangements fixed with respect to the vehicle and having a dimensionally stable pull-out profile displaceable in parallel fashion by in each case one guide carriage in the respective lateral guide arrangement via a drive device, lateral shading structure sections protruding, in a manner dependent on the displacement travel of the shading structure, into lateral receiving spaces fixed with respect to the vehicle. To the lateral shading structure sections, there are fastened in each case two support bodies spaced apart from one another in the pulling-out direction of the shading structure and the thickness of which is greater than a thickness of the respective shading structure sections. The support bodies are guided in transversely supported fashion with play in complementary support channel sections of the receiving spaces.

Shading device for a transparent surface part of a motor vehicle having a shading structure, two non-parallel lateral guide arrangements fixed with respect to the vehicle and flanking a displacement travel of the shading structure on opposite sides, and a pull-out profile which, at opposite face sides, is displaceable by in each case one guide carriage, lateral shading structure sections protruding, in a manner dependent on the displacement travel of the shading structure, into lateral receiving spaces fixed with respect to the vehicle and assigned to the guide arrangements. Each lateral guide arrangement and the associated receiving space are integrated in one housing structure fixed with respect to the vehicle and having a guide slot for the passage of the guide carriage from the pull-out profile to a drive device the guide slot running along the displacement travel of the shading structure and opening toward the latter.

A protective device for a vehicle interior including a flexible structure held on a winding shaft and mounted for movement between a rest position, wound-up on the winding shaft, and a pulled-out protective position. Guiding members are provided in an end face region, which members are connectable to a drive system having a drive motor and a drive transmission connected to the guiding members in order to cause synchronous displacement of both guiding members. The drive transmission includes a revolving pull drive mechanism on one side, which drive mechanism is connected to one guiding member and is driven by the drive motor. The other guiding member is displaceable by a push-pull cord capable of translational movement, which cord is coupled to the revolving pull drive mechanism.

Protective device with a flexible sheet-like structure movable between a compactly stored position and at least one two-dimensionally extended functional position and which is provided, on an end region thereof with a dimensionally stable extension profile which, at opposite ends, has retaining profile sections mounted so as to be displaceable telescopically to a limited extent in the extension profile and acted upon outwardly in the longitudinal direction of the extension profile by a spring arrangement. Each retaining profile section is assigned a second spring arrangement which acts on the retaining profile section in the opposite direction to the first spring arrangement. The retaining profile section, in an unloaded non-operational position, is held on the extension profile in a central position, from which the retaining profile section can be shifted inward or outward in opposite longitudinal directions relative to the extension profile.

A drive device of this type, the roof module comprising two movable roof parts, with longitudinally extended tension/compression means for transmitting drive to the roof parts which are driveable by a common drive motor via two output pinions, is known. The output pinions are oriented coaxially with respect to each other, and the output pinions are assigned a change-over device which sets the drive motor into operative connection alternatively with the one or the other output pinion.

A restraint device for a vehicle interior has a flexible planar structure movably mounted between a rest position and an extended function position and that is provided at its end area with a dimensionally stable pulling-out section, and the restraint device has at least one roof-side holder in which the pulling-out section is detachably fixed by at least one complementary securing section in the extended function position of the planar structure. The roof-side holder includes a receptacle and a stationary locking pawl arrangement mechanically matched to a movement distance of the at least one securing section during transfer from the rest position to the function position. The securing section during its upward travel presses the locking pawl arrangement into the release position, and the securing section enters the receptacle and the locking pawl arrangement automatically moves back into its locking position as soon as the securing section has entered the receptacle.

A roller blind cassette for receiving a roller blind shaft and a roller blind which in the stowed state is wound onto the roller blind shaft and in a functional state is drawn in a longitudinal direction through an exit slot of the roller blind cassette. The cassette has a housing with a hollow section slotted along its length and extending in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction and forming the exit slot of the roller blind cassette. Two opposite edge regions extend on both sides of the slot of the hollow section and are connected to one another in the region of two opposite ends of the hollow section by a connecting bridge, the connecting bridge being connected to one of the edge regions by a connecting arrangement that counters in a positive manner the freedom of the connecting bridge to rotate at the edge region.

A roller blind system for a motor vehicle for screening a vehicle window including a flexible sheet element, a roller blind shaft on which the flexible sheet element is wound in a stored state of the roller blind system and from which the flexible sheet element can be unwound in order to achieve a functional state of the roller blind system, a pull-out rod attached to an end of the sheet element oriented away from the roller blind shaft and two guide rails for guiding the pull-out rod on each side between a first position associated with the stored state and a second position associated with the functional state.

In a rear-window roller blind for motor vehicles in which a rear half of a back-seat shelf, which is located between the rear window and the pull-out slot for the rear-window roller blind, is used as a support element for the roller blind. The back-seat shelf half is made either from a wood material or is a plastic molded part. Through alternative arrangements, it is ensured that the temperature expansion and contraction of the components of the roller blind and its support are accommodated.

A window shade for motor vehicles having a shade of approximately trapezoidal shape. An extension profile or pull rod of the shade, the ends of which are guided in guide rails, is arranged on the shortest transverse edge of the shade. In order to compensate for a varying distance between the guide rails, the extension profile is divided into a center section, on which the shade is fixed, and two end sections that move in the guide rails. Centering devices are provided in order to prevent transverse creases in the shade when it is completely extended. The centering devices, which are effective when the shade is completely extended, act upon the center section.

The roller blind body has a width greater than at least portions of the rear window, with the excess portions of the roller blind body being movable into receptacles mounted in the vehicle body, thus preventing any possible light gap between the roller blind body and the side edges of the of window.

A window shade arrangement has holding levers in order to draw the window shade material from the wind-up roller shaft and to hold it in a drawn out or extended position. The holding levers include hinged sliding elements that slide in associated guide grooves in the pull-out element or bar. To ensure stop-free, smooth operation, these sliding elements can be provided with a lubricant reservoir, can have a dumbbell shape, can have a cylindrical shape or some combination thereof.

A loading-space protection device includes a holding unit, in which at least one winding shaft for winding up or unwinding a flexible sheet-like structure is mounted, and fastening means for securing the holding unit in a functional position, fixed on the vehicle, in mounts on the vehicle. At least one fastening means is assigned at least one securing means which is mounted moveably in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle between a blocking position, which blocks the fastening means in its fastening position within the mount on the vehicle in an interlocking manner, and a rest position, which is disengaged from the fastening means, in such a manner that severe longitudinal accelerations of the vehicle, in particular positive or negative accelerations in the form of a front or rear impact, lead to the securing means being displaced into the blocking position.

A protective device for a motor vehicle luggage area has a flexible flat article, which is movably mounted between a compact, deposited protection position and at least one extracted protection position. There are at least two parallel, spaced functional shafts to which the flat article is connected. The position of the flat article is detected and a controller, as a function of the detected position, controls the functional shafts in such a way that the flat article in a first, roughly horizontally extracted protection position has a first, light-proof surface structural portion and in a second, vertically extracted protection position a second, light-transmitting surface structural portion.
