The present embodiments are related to a device for hot riveting by using a stud. The device may have a docking surface for the docking against a workpiece and a recess section for the shaping of a sealing head of the plastic stud. The recess section may include a cavity corresponding to the docking surface with a first depth. The device may have a compensation section arranged adjacent to the recess section, the compensation section configured to form an edge section of the plastic stud by accommodating displaced material from the sealing head of the plastic stud. The compensation section may have a second depth in relation to the docking surface, the second depth being less than the first depth.

A method of producing an insert molded sensor assembly having at least one sensor element accommodated on a first side of a circuit board of the sensor assembly. During a first step, a plurality of pins are introduced and penetrate through the circuit board. The circuit board, including the at least one sensor element, is then disposed, during a second step, into a two-part insert mold tool so that the pins are supported on both sides of the circuit board in a direction transverse to a plane defined by the circuit board. A defined spacing distance, between a surface of the sensor element and the insert mold tool, is produced by the pins. During a third step of the method, the insert mold tool is filled with insert molding material, particularly a duroplast.

A combined steering angle and torque sensor that inductively and with eddy current damping generates two absolute angle measurement signals over an angle range of 360 degrees including a first damping rotor being disposed on an end of an input shaft of steering column divided by a torsion element; a second damping rotor being disposed on an end of an output shaft of the steering column; at least one carrier being fixed to a housing of the steering column and through which the steering column passes at a right angle, the at least one carrier being fitted with flat coils in a complete angle range; and at least one passive actuating element, without periodically repeated structures, being borne on each of said first and second damping rotors, the actuating elements being in two different locations of said angle range acting on the flat coils of the at least one carrier.
