According to a method for the surface compaction and calibration of a sintered component, the sintered component runs along an axis through a plurality of die sections of a die, the inner diameter of which decreases in pressing direction and wherein the individual die sections are arranged such that a following die section of the plurality of die sections directly adjoins the corresponding die section which precedes it in pressing direction, and after the surface compaction at the last die section with decreasing inner diameter there is a relaxation of the sintered component in a relief section directly adjoining the last die section, which relief section has a greater diameter than the immediately preceding last die section of the die section with a decreasing inner diameter. The sintered component is calibrated in the relief section, whereby the inner contour of the relief section corresponds with the intended contour with the nominal dimensions of the sintered component.

Method for the surface compaction and calibration of a sintered component

The invention relates to a method for the production of a one-piece, metal multiple wheel () for a traction mechanism comprising at least two adjacently disposed single wheels (), each comprising a wheel body () having an outer circumference (), wherein teeth () for engaging the traction mechanism are arranged in a distributed manner over the outer circumference (), and wherein at least one of the two single wheels () is configured as a sprocket, gear or toothed belt wheel. The sprocket, gear or toothed belt wheel is produced with a rough contour, wherein a tooth thickness of the rough contour (), in axial view, is greater than the tooth thickness of the final contour of the finished sprocket, gear or toothed belt wheel and thereafter depending on the traction means used, this rough contour is reformed by non-machining reforming, in particular by rolling, into the finished tooth contour, wherein a toothed belt wheel contour is produced from a sprocket wheel or gear wheel contour or a sprocket wheel contour is produced from a gear wheel or toothed belt wheel contour, or a gear wheel contour is produced from a toothed belt or sprocket wheel. The invention further relates to a preform for producing multiple wheel and to a multiple wheel.

The invention describes a device () for calibrating a sintered molded part () with an angular toothing () by means of a calibrating tool (), comprising a lower punch () for mounting the sintered molded part () with a lower punch external toothing (), a vertically movable and axially rotatably mounted upper punch () with an upper punch external toothing (), as well as an axially rotatably mounted die () with a die internal toothing (). The lower punch () is mounted to be moveable only in vertical direction.

Device and method for calibrating a sintered molded part

The invention relates to a bearing cover () for a split bearing arrangement () which, in addition to the bearing cover (), comprises a bearing block (), and the bearing cover () has a clamping surface () which lies against a co-operating clamping surface () of the bearing block () when the bearing arrangement () is in the assembled state, and at least one projection () is provided on the clamping surface () and protruding out from it which can be pushed into the co-operating clamping surface () of the bearing block (). As the sintered part () is moved, the surface is compacted from the first die orifice () to the last die portion () by die portions () continuously merging into one another and by monotonously decreasing internal diameters () of the die portions () as measured between co-operating pressing surfaces ().

Method of compacting the surface of a sintered part

The invention describes a belt pulley () for a wet belt application, with a pulley body () comprising toothing () incorporating teeth () on an end face () for a toothed belt, and a tooth gap () with a tooth gap base () is disposed between every two teeth (), and optionally with at least one flange (), which is disposed&#x2014;in the axial direction&#x2014;on the side of the pulley body () and extends beyond the toothing () in the radial direction. A method of producing a sliding sleeve for a synchronizer of a speed-changing gear, the sliding sleeve being comprised of a sintered powder metal compact having a claw extending along an inner periphery of the sleeve, and the claw consisting of teeth having opposite end faces and a cross-section between the end faces which is reduced relative to an undercut portion at at least one of the end faces, which method comprises the steps of sintering the powder metal compact having the claw consisting of the teeth having the opposite end faces and the reduced cross-section extending between the end faces, and then applying solely an axial upsetting force to the one end face to form the undercut portion thereat while leaving the reduced cross-section unchanged.
