Trim panel including a decoration layer having a decoration side provided with a decoration, a contact layer having a contact side structured and arranged for contact with a substrate, and an intermediate layer having a cell structure and being at least one of: connected one of indirectly or directly to the decoration layer and connected one of indirectly or directly to the contact layer. A connecting layer is produced from a wood material and formed in one piece with at least one connecting element formed on at least two opposing sides of the connector layer in the form of complementary tongue and groove connectors. Intermediate layer is one of: arranged on a side of connecting layer facing towards decoration layer or on a side of connecting layer facing towards contact layer, and is exposed on edges of trim panel running orthogonally to panel plane.

Trim panel

A multilayered board including a material board having a visible surface coated with at least one paper layer impregnated with resin. The multilayered board includes a material board, at least one paper layer structured to coat the material board, and a resin layer structured to impregnate the at least one paper layer, wherein the resin layer is arranged to face away from the material board and have an average layer thickness of at least 5 &#x3bc;m.

An arrangement of building elements capable of a snap-fastening interconnection comprises an element, especially the tongue, consisting of a different material from the other building elements. An MDF/HDF panel, is initially milled along the longitudinal and/or transverse sides, and the resulting groove is then provided and/or foam-filled with extrudates. Finally, the free ends of the extrudates are milled to form the profile of the tongue. Alternatively, or additionally, a groove may also be milled into the extrudates.
