The device for feeding flattened boxes comprises a magazine arranged at the output of a feeder, such as a folding-pasting machine and provided with advancement means adapted to collect boxes, which exit in a line horizontally superimposed in a sequential manner from the feeder, and to accumulate them in stacks. The device then transfers the boxes into a vertically flattened position, at a zone which cooperates with a packaging machine extractor.

A feeder for feeding products, for example soap tablets, to a continuously oving receiving conveyor having a succession of containers includes at least one product pick-up station adjacent the start of the receiving conveyor, a carousel placed between said station and said start, sucker assemblies mounted on the carousel for movement along and rotation around their own vertical axis. The feeder further includes means driving said carousel in an intermittent rotary movement to halt the feeding sucker assemblies above said station and then to move in synchronism with the receiving conveyor, first control means for controlling sliding movements of the assemblies along their axes, means controlling intermittent application of vacuum to the assemblies for picking up products from said station and then releasing them onto containers of the receiving conveyor, second control means for effecting angular movements of the assemblies around their axes to orient the products with the containers.

Feeder e.g. for soap tablets to wrapping machine

Apparatus for controlling and adjusting the weight of doses of a loose product in a rotating metering head having telescoping volumetric members distributed therearound. The apparatus includes a rotating control head having a set of sample telescoping volumetric members. A main duct feeds the product to the metering head. A secondary duct is branched off the main duct to feed the control head. A scale is operative to receive individual sample doses as provided by the telescoping members of the control head and to discharge them, after the weighing thereof has been completed, to the metering head. A control assembly adjusts in a concurrent proportional mode the volume of the telescoping members of the metering and control heads according to the weight variations of the weighed product versus the scale reference value. Associated with the scale is an electromechanical transducer having, upon each weighing step of the sample doses, an output signal the level and direction whereof vary in a directly proportional manner with the weight deviation of the sample dose from the scale reference weight. An electronic computer is connected between the transducer and the control assembly and is operative to convert the signals from the transducer into pulses activating the assembly such as to adjust the volumes of the telescoping members of the metering head and control head and eliminate the deviation in the doses supplied thereby.

An apparatus for transferring at a predetermined spacing on to a reception conveyor objects fed at an irregular spacing from a continuously moving delivery conveyor. The apparatus consists of a transfer conveyor which moves continuously and at a speed different from that of the delivery conveyor from the delivery conveyor to the reception conveyor, object take-up suckers for transferring the objects from the delivery conveyor and for depositing them at regular distances on the reception conveyor and at least one sensor sensing the position of the objects on the delivery conveyor. The apparatus comprises, moreover, a valve associated with each sucker, at least two control devices adapted to assume a position of engagement with the sucker valves to move them to an activation position and a further control device able to engage with the sucker valves to move them into a deactivation position.

Apparatus for transferring at a predetermined spacing on to a reception

An apparatus for transferring bodies of delicate consistency from a feed line to a reception line, comprising a flexible closed loop member and aspirator means supported by the flexible member. The aspirator means are mobile vertically and approach the feed and reception lines for extracting and depositing the bodies respectively in seats of the lines.
