A plurality of cylinder sections are welded together to form a milling cylinder, wherein, prior to welding, individual cylinder sections are machined in the region of their end edges to be welded, using at least one machining tool. Furthermore, the cylinder section to be machined is provided with inwardly oriented bracing means, wherein a temporary axle is fitted on the bracing means such that the temporary axle is oriented in the mid-axis of the cylinder section, and wherein the at least one machining tool is fastened to the temporary axle by means of a holder and the machining tool is rotated relative to the cylinder section about or with the temporary axle during the machining of the end edges.

Method for manufacturing large mill cylinders

The grinding roller of a roller mill according to the invention consists essentially of a roller shaft, a main roller body and an external wear ring having a wear protection, wherein the connection between the roller shaft and the main roller body is formed by a shrink fit. The main roller body is formed by at least two coaxially arranged intermediate rings.

The method according to the invention for reprocessing the worn surface of grinding rollers () of a material bed roller mill comprises the following method steps: a. providing a mobile processing station () which is arranged in a container () and comprises at least one machine tool () and a drive () for rotating the grinding roller, b. removing the complete roller unit (A) containing the grinding roller to be reprocessed from the material bed roller mill, c. positioning the complete roller unit in front on the mobile processing station and coupling the drive to the shaft () of the grinding roller, d. producing a new cylindrical surface () using the machine tool, and e. producing a new wear protection comprising new profiled bodies () and/or build-up welding.

Method for reconditioning the worn surface of grinding rollers of a high-compression roller mill

The invention relates to a method for reconditioning a used grinding roller of a material bed roller mill having profile-members which are embedded, with a portion of the length thereof, in holes of the roller body and, with the remainder of the length thereof, project above the surface of the roller body. For the reconditioning operation, after the worn profile-members are removed, the worn surface of the roller body is turned, and a material layer is applied in a welding operation and is provided with holes for receiving new profile-members. Such a method allows particularly cost-effective reconditioning.

Method for reconditioning a used grinding roller

The invention relates to a milling roller of a high-pressure material bed roller mill, having profile-members which are embedded with a portion of the length thereof in holes of the roller body and, with the remainder of the length thereof, protrude above the surface of the roller body, with, when the milling roller is new, the holes having different depths and the profile-members having different lengths in differently loaded part-regions of the width of the roller body. Such a construction brings about a long service-life for the roller and cost-effective reconditioning after operational wear with a production operation which reduces costs.

Grinding roller and method for the reconditioning thereof

In this tiltable supporting roller bearing according to the invention for supporting a rotary drum there are provided a freely rotatably mounted supporting roller and an appertaining bearing structure which is tiltably supported with respect to a stationary foundation plate with the aid of easily shifted support bearings which are arranged inclined against one another in such a way that the point of rotation of the line of contact between the supporting roller and the riding ring of the rotary drum lies with the vertical central axis of the supporting roller. With a particularly simple and reliable design, this construction makes it possible to compensate for skewing of the rotary drum riding ring and at the same time markedly to reduce or largely avoid undesirable consequences of the axial forces resulting from longitudinal movements of the rotary drum.

Tiltable supporting roller bearing

The invention relates to a rotary drum with relatively large dimensions, the shell of which is supported by means of riding rings each on a pair of supporting rollers of a supporting roller stand. For this purpose the rotary drum shell merely bears two riding rings which are attached so as to be fixed against rotation and which are supported on two supporting roller stands of which at least one simultaneously forms the rotary drive arrangement for the rotary drum in the form of a friction drive. This produces a combination of features by means of which the mounting of the rotary drum is statically determinate and can be driven reliably in an extremely simple manner.

Rotary drum

The invention relates to a roll mill having at least one pair of grinding rollers bearing against a substantially horizontal surface of a grinding table which is rotatable about a vertical axis. The rollers are mounted at one end of a roller support the opposite end of which is guided by guide lugs slidable vertically in guides and linked to the roller support by a tension rod. In order to achieve particularly smooth running of the grinding rollers on the grinding surface, the guides and the guide lugs lie approximately at the level of the grinding surface.

Roll mill

A roller mill has a mill housing having a vertical axis. A coaxially aligned grinding track is arranged concentrically about the vertical axis and supports a plurality of grinding rolls. The mill housing is divided into a force-conducting housing part which absorbs horizontal grinding reaction forces and an air-ducting housing part which contains an air-ducting chamber and is mounted below the force-conducting housing part. The force-conducting housing part is supported on the foundation by supports. The air-ducting housing part is detachably secured to the force-conducting housing part and independently supported on the foundation by brackets and bearing supports.
