A fire protection element is useful for the separation of openings passing through walls or ceilings, and in particular useful for line passages. The fire protection element has a molded part with a honeycomb structure made from intumescent material.

A fire protection element is useful for the separation of openings passing through walls or ceilings, in particular of line passages. The fire protection element has a molded part made from intumescent material with a plurality of through-openings for the passage of lines which extend in particular parallel to each other from a first side to an opposite second side of the fire protection element. In each case, the through-openings for the passage are tightly sealed relative to flue gas by a membrane.

An intumescent fire resistance device for closing breaches in walls or ceilings, contains a plurality of planar carriers which are provided with an intumescent coating on at least one side. The carriers are secured to one another at least partially overlapping in an overlap region such that a strip or ring is produced the length of which is longer than the length of an individual carrier.

A through-penetration device has a molded body consisting essentially of an intumescent foam material and having at least one penetration opening for one line. An outer contour of the molded body has protrusions extending radially outward for anchoring within a cast building component, which protrusions form undercuts in building component as the building component is being cast. In addition, a mounting plate that can be axially pushed onto the through-penetration device, sealing the penetration openings, is provided. As the through-penetration device is produced, a liquid coating material is applied to a surface of a foaming mold, and then a foam mass containing a predetermined percentage of intumescent material is introduced into the foaming mold. After a foaming process, the coating material forms a water-impermeable skin on the foamed molded body.

An assembly for a line conduit is configured to be molded into a construction part, such as a concrete casting. The assembly includes positioning module configured for fastening the assembly to a structure, such as a wall or casting. The assembly also includes a casting sheath and a fire protection module, which includes an intumescent fire protection element. The positioning module, the fire protection module and the casting sheath cooperate to form a line passage. The fire protection module includes accepts for a reversible fastening of the casting sheath and/or the positioning module.
