A sealing ring has a sealing element with at least one fastening part and at least one sealing part provided with a sealing edge. The sealing element is essentially of rotational symmetry. The sealing edge, at least over a portion of a circumference thereof, is positioned in a slanted position relative to a sealing ring axis at an angle different from a 90 degree angle, viewed in a projection onto an axial plane of the sealing ring. A support part is provided and the sealing edge is arranged on an inner side of the support part.

Sealing ring

A sealing ring has a sealing element with at least one fastening part and at least one sealing part provided with a sealing edge. The sealing element is essentially of rotational symmetry. The sealing edge, at least over a portion of a circumference thereof, is positioned in a slanted position relative to a seal axis at an angle different from a 90 degree angle, viewed in a projection onto an axial plane of the sealing ring.

A component having at least one support member with a first connecting portion and at least one part with a second connecting portion is formed by activating the second connecting portion by plasma treatment and then combining the first and second connecting portions and securing their attachment to one another by a heat and pressure treatment.

Components having enhanced adhesion between parts

A method for manufacturing parts from an antiadhesive organic powder includes the step of plasma-treating the antiadhesive organic powder and processing the antiadhesive organic powder for forming the parts. The device for performing the method has a housing with a receiving chamber that has at least one inlet for introducing a process gas. A rotary drum is rotatably mounted in the receiving chamber for supporting the antiadhesive organic powder. At least one electrode is mounted in the receiving chamber and at least one energy source is connected to the electrode for energizing the electrode. The process gas can be exposed to high frequency radiation or microwave radiation in order to produce a plasma.
