The invention relates to an air jet weaving machine with compressed air supply components for supplying air nozzles and with compressed air. The compressed air supply components comprise a compressed air infeed line with a main shut-off valve and an air filter as well as solenoid values and pressure regulators for controlling and regulating the compressed air which is supplied to the air nozzles, with some of the compressed air supply components being collected in a separate compressed air supply unit which is arranged to be separate from the rest of the weaving machine.

The progressive distributor contains a control piston which is slidable in a cylinder. The piston contains a main channel and a plurality of radially disposed distribution channels for distributing lubricant. The cylinder has feed channels which are aligned with feed channels in a housing of a machine part to be lubricated and are arranged in offset relation to the distribution channels of the piston. The respective distribution channels and feed channels are arranged so that during movement of the piston in the cylinder, the various feed channels are progressively supplied with lubricant.

Lubricant distributor

The pulse lubricator is constructed to deliver oil sprays to various lubrication points of a power loom and includes a plurality of atomizers. Each atomizer includes an atomizer head and a macro-separator for separating out large droplets of lubricant. A catch basin is disposed below the macro-separator of the atomizer and is in sealed relation to the lubrication reservoir. The catch basin has a check valve in the bottom which is closed during a pulse so that constant pressure is maintained in the spray. Between pulses, the check valve may open to maintain the level of lubricant in the catch basin at the same level as the lubricant in the reservoir.

Lubricator for a power loom

The lubricating system generates and delivers a programed sequence of gas (compressed air) pulses and lubricant-mist pulses to the lubricating stations of the textile machine. The pulses are determined by an electronic controller which selectively activates valves in the gas line and the lubricant-mist line. An extractor line is also positioned at each lubricating station for extracting lubricant-mist and dirt therefrom.
