A method for producing a plate heat exchanger and the plate heat exchanger, particularly a soldered aluminium plate heat exchanger. In the method, a heat exchanger block is provided having a plurality of partition plates and edge strips arranged between the partition plates. A connection device is provided to be mounted on the heat exchanger block. A planar region for securing the connection device to the heat exchanger block is provided with at least one welded weld bead by means of a first weld. The connection device is welded onto the weld bead by means of a second weld. The welding method used for the first weld is a friction stir welding method.

The invention describes a method for producing a plate heat exchanger. Wavy profiled sheetsand separating sheets, together with sidebars, are stacked one above the other, provided with solder and soldered together in such a way that a blockis obtained. The block is closed off outwardly by means of the cover sheets. The contours of the intermediate piecesare milled out at the respective positionson the blockthus obtained. In a refinement of the invention, frames are used as intermediate pieces. The framesare positioned in the milled-out portions at the positions, provided with solder and tacked on by means of spot welding. Heat exchanger

A plate heat exchanger includes a heat exchanger block having a plurality of heat exchange passages. On the heat exchanger block, a header is mounted that extends over at least one part of one side of the heat exchanger block and establishes a flow connection between the heat exchange passages. The plate heat exchanger is provided with a fluid connection, which is formed by the header-side end of a pipeline. The fluid connection is essentially perpendicular to the side of the heat exchanger block over which the header extends. Within the pipeline directly in front of the header, there is a flow guide.

The invention relates to a method for producing a plate heat exchanger from a plurality of heat exchanger blocks (). Each heat exchanger block () has mounted on it a header () which extends over at least part of one side of the heat exchanger block (). The heat exchanger blocks () are arranged next to one another, and the headers () of two adjacent heat exchanger blocks () are provided on their mutually confronting sides with orifices and are connected to one another in such a way that a flow connection occurs between the two headers ().
