A battery pole terminal, having an annular section, which surrounds a cylindrical or conical receiving space at least in sections in a circumferential direction, the annular section having an interruption with respect to the circumferential direction with two opposite edges. A gripping section for a clamping mechanism is provided at each of the edges. Furthermore, the battery pole terminal has a clamping mechanism which acts on the gripping sections and can exert a clamping force on the edges, pushing the opposite edges toward each other. A force limiting mechanism is provided which, when a minimum distance between the edges is reached, prevents an increase in the clamping force on the gripping sections.

A potted electronic module includes an electronic assembly with a conductor such as a shunt that is arranged in a housing, and includes an electrical contact guided out through the housing wall, and a potting compound within the housing. The module may be produced by removing a protective layer from an area of the conductor by ablation, and then introducing a potting or casting compound into the housing, so that the potting compound covers a location at which the electrical contact passes through the housing wall, and the potting compound adheres directly onto the exposed conductor at the area at which the protective layer was removed.

A current sensor device for measuring a current, in particular for measuring a battery current in motor vehicles. The device includes a clamping device for fixing the current sensor device to a maintaining body, an electric resistance element on which the current can be measured by means of a voltage, and an electric mass element by means of which the current sensor device can be electrically coupled to a zero potential. A method is provided for producing an electronic module that includes an electronic assembly with a conductor which is arranged in a housing, and which includes an electrical contact guided out through the housing wall. In the method, a protective layer is removed from an area of the conductor by ablation, and then a potting or casting compound is introduced into the housing, so that the potting compound covers a location at which the electrical contact passes through the housing wall, and the potting compound adheres directly onto the exposed conductor at the area at which the protective layer was removed.

A holding frame is to be arranged behind a vehicle window, and is to receive and hold a sensor device. The holding frame has guideways to receive and guide holding elements of the sensor device, and devices to produce a force on the sensor device substantially in a direction along the guideways. The combination of the holding frame and the sensor device forms a sensor arrangement.

The main part of the melt produced during laser welding of two housing parts along a circumferential edge is made to flow towards the printed circuit board by a predefined geometry, thus fixing the board in a form-fitting manner. The basic geometry is modified to prevent the melt from distributing in both directions in an uncontrolled manner and make it flow towards the inside of the housing in a targeted manner. The printed circuit board can thus be fixed and the housing sealed in a single operation. Less space is required on the printed circuit board since the support surfaces only affect the peripheral zone of the printed circuit board. The peripheral zone is a barrier zone since the individual printed circuit board is cut out of a panel. Due to the larger contact surface, prestress losses caused by creep of the plastic have no adverse effect.

An optical module has a circuit carrier, a housed semiconductor element placed on the circuit carrier, and a lens unit for projecting electromagnetic radiation onto the semiconductor element. The lens unit, which is constructed separate from the cased semiconductor element, preferably comprises a lens assembly formed of, for example, three lenses and of a diaphragm. The three lenses, optionally together with the diaphragm, are aligned in a well-defined manner due to their geometric design so that no additional optical adjustment is necessary. According to the invention, a support is formed, at least in sections, on the case of the semiconductor element, and the lens unit is placed thereon thus being supported. The concept is that by forming a support directly on the case of a cased semiconductor element even with classically cased semiconductor chips, it is possible to construct a camera module with which every mechanical focus setting can be eliminated. The novel system is particularly suited for use in the interior or exterior of a motor vehicle.

Optical module and optical system

An optical module has a lens holder with a lens assembly of, for example, three lenses and a diaphragm. The lenses and the optional diaphragm are unequivocally oriented by the geometrical form thereof such that no other optical adjustment is required. The optical module has a specially embodied circuit carrier with a thin region and a thick region that holds the thin, relatively sensitive region as in a frame, the thin region preferably carrying a semiconductor element. Along with the particularly low tolerances between the semiconductor element and the lens unit, the invention advantageously enables a more reliable assembly (e.g. soldering, gluing, etc.) of a semiconductor element, for example in flip-chip mounting technology, on a thin and thus relatively stable, flat plane, than comparable assembly processes of components on exclusively flexible circuit carriers. The optical module is particularly suitable for interior and exterior applications on motor vehicles.
