The invention relates to a device for examining a medium () inside a bioreactor (), comprising a sample-taking module () for taking a sample of the medium (). The sample-taking module () comprises an uptake region () that can be arranged to make contact with the medium () inside the bioreactor (). At least two different membranes () are positioned on the uptake region () of said sample-taking module (), for the purpose of taking a sample of the medium ().

Device and method for examining a medium

A method is provided for measuring parameters of state of a fluid contained in a container (') that has a sensor carrier plate with plural sensors (S-S, S&#x2032;-S&#x2032;). Each sensor has a sensor head in operative contact with the interior of the container (&#x2032;) and in operative contact with an external control unit (). The external control unit () receives measurement data generated by the sensor heads of active sensors via their communication link and processes the data. An activation data record (&#x2032;) is assigned to each sensor (S-S, S&#x2032;-S&#x2032;) and is recorded in a manner that is accessible for the external control unit (). The external control unit () first accesses the activation data records (&#x2032;), then classifies the sensors (S-S, S&#x2032;-S&#x2032;) as activatable or nonactivatable sensors, and subsequently activates only those sensors classified as activatable sensors.

Method for measuring a plurality of parameters of state of a fluid contained in a container

A method is provided for measuring status parameters of a fluid contained in a container (). The container () is configured for single use and has a wall on which a sensor-carrier plate is fixed in a fluid-tight manner. The plate carries sensors (S-S) that are in operative contact with the internal chamber of the container () and connected for data exchange () with an external control unit () that receives and processes the measurement data from the sensors (S-S). The sensor plate also carries a temporarily inactive duplicate (D-D) of at least one of the sensors (S-S) that is activated if measurement data of the sensor (S-S) is classified as atypical in the context of an integrity or plausibility test carried out by the external control unit ().
