A spreader particularly adapted for manual operation over a residential lawn includes a one-piece hopper made of corrosion resistant material. Lugged wheels connect with a shaft which is rotatively carried by and extends through a lower part of the hopper. On the shaft inside the hopper is an agitator bar having outward extending projections. The bar projections align with a series of slots in a rear wall of the hopper for a discharge of material in the hopper to the ground below. To regulate this discharge a movable gate is positioned on an outer side of the hopper slots. Gate movement is effected by a control bar carried in a flow control housing of a handle assembly having an extension attached to the hopper. The degree of gate movement, which affects the size of the slot openings, is regulated by a position of a stop operatively connected to a rotatable dial in the flow control housing. During use an operator holds a handle bar of the handle assembly while compressing the control bar until it engages the stop. This control bar action moves the gate to selectively uncover the hopper slots allowing material in the hopper to discharge. Material flow through the hopper slots is enhanced by rotation of the agitator bar and connecting wheels as the wheels roll over the ground below.

Spreader

A laundry hamper arrangement is disclosed which has been particularly configured to include a plurality of individually removable inner hamper bags. The arrangement includes a box-like hamper having spaced front and rear panel members, and laterally spaced side panel members extending therebetween. Notably, the hamper includes generally rectangular upper and lower frames which are respectively positionable in contiguous relationship with the upper and lower edges of the hamper panel members, and which in the preferred form are of identical configuration to facilitate economical manufacture. A plurality of substantially non-rigid hamper bags are removably positionable within the box-like hamper, with the upper frame thereof including upturned supporting lips for removably supporting the hamper bags. In one embodiment of the invention, means are provided for slidably joining the side panel members to extruded corner members affixed to the front and rear panel members. In an alternate embodiment, hinged corner assemblies are provided to permit the hamper panel members to be relatively moved to a 'knocked down' or collapsed configuration.

Multi-bag laundry hamper

A triple-edge safety razor in which no portions thereof are disconnected during use. The razor employs a novel blade assembly wherein three individual strip blades are interconnected by a flexible central web affording hinged connections therebetween. A number of methods of manufacture of the blade assembly are described.

A tamper-resistant packaging arrangement is disclosed which includes a container having a top wall portion defining a container opening, and a closure adapted to be non-removably fitted to the container, and which includes a top wall portion defining a closure opening. The closure is adapted to be fitted to the container and retained threon in a first, unopened position in which the closure opening and the container opening are out of alignment and the container is closed. A coacting arrangement is provided whereby the closure is initially maintained in its first position, and which prevents the closure from being moved back into its first position after it is moved therefrom by relative rotation. The packaging arrangement preferably includes suitable indicia on at least one of the closure and the container to provide a clear visual indication of disposition of the closure in its first, unopened position with respect to the container. When access to the contents of the container is desired, the closure can be easily relatively rotated and moved from its first position for alignment of the closure and container openings, with the arrangement thereafter still functioning to close the container is desired. However, after initial opening the container, the closure can no longer be returned to its first position with respect thereto.

Tamper-resistant packaging arrangement

An injection-molded nestable bedpan having a cavity defining a receptacle formed by a bottom wall and a tapered upright wall, and a seat formed at the upper edge of said upright wall. The tapered upright wall includes opposed sidewall segments and opposed end wall segments with one of the tapered end wall segments defining an undercut to inhibit splashback and spillage.
