A submersible shrimp light includes a central main body section having a plurality of elongated arms extending outward therefrom. Each of the elongated arms includes a lighting unit along a distal end for illuminating an area approximately 360 degrees about the central body. Bends in the arms orient the lighting units at various angles, and weights are positioned within the device along the bottom surface.

A security system for monitoring a product includes a sensor coupled to the product that is further coupled to a splitter box. The splitter box includes a first shift register for storing data that indicates whether the product is coupled to the sensor. A main controller unit coupled to the splitter box causes the splitter box to transmit the data and then causes the data to be stored in a table. After storing the data, the data is transmitted to a second shift register disposed in the splitter box. A logic circuit disposed in the splitter box compares the data stored in the second shift register to a signal indicating whether the product is still coupled to the sensor and generates an alarm signal if the product is no longer coupled to the sensor. The alarm signal is subsequently transmitted to the main controller unit which responds to the signal by sounding a horn.

Security system

A signal scrambling system is provided in which the scrambler includes a transition limiter which limits the size of changes in the amplitude of the input clear signal, a device for generating a pseudo random signal and combining the pseudo random and clear signals, and a transposer for reducing the bandwidth of the channel needed for the scrambled signal. The descrambler includes another pseudo random signal generator and device for combining the random signal with the received scrambled signal, as well as another transposer, for recovering a descrambled signal. The system minimizes the power bandwidth of the channel necessary to transmit accurately the scrambled signal which contains no vestiges, not even an average intensity, of the original input signal.
