A female receptacle adapted for electrical connection to a male plug includes a premold for housing a pair of clothes-pin type metal female contacts and a D-shaped metal female pin. The premold, which may be made from a relatively rigid material, is housed within an overmold made from a less rigid material. The premold can be of a locking variety or a non-locking variety.

Female receptacle and premold therefor

A housing for female receptacles in a molded female receptacle plug has a body and cover to receive female receptacle connectors. The housing is a premold for the receptacle plug. Female receptacles may be engaged in the housing and simultaneously crimped to wires in a cord set. The body and cover are interengagable. They can be snap fit or slide fitted together with female receptacle crimp ends on necks extending through the housing safe from mold plastic flashing in molding, when load bars are conventionally engaged into blade openings in the housing. The assembly of the housing and female receptacle is automatable with labor and material economies obtained in the molding and from automatable assembly and simultaneous crimpability of the engaged female receptacles.

Housing for female receptacles in a molded plug

A device for maintaining a water level within a fluid reservoir, such as a Christmas tree stand or aquarium. The inventive device includes a pump for supplying water from a container to the fluid reservoir. A switch responsive to the water level of the reservoir communicates with the pump to effect energization thereof as the water level declines. The pump preferably includes a resilient stopper to permit mounting of the pump to an empty bottle or the like.

Water level maintenance device

A pennant mounting unit enables the mounting of a relatively large pennant upon the stay of a sailboat for free swinging movement relative to the stay about an altitudinal axis passing through an elevated fixed altitudinal position on the stay, independent of the angle of inclination of the stay, without hindering the normal operation of the sailboat.
