The present disclosure is directed toward a downhole tool used to free stuck tools in a wellbore and the method of using the downhole tool. The downhole tool includes at least one packer element for engaging a casing in a wellbore. The packer works to isolate one area of the casing from another. The downhole tool also includes at least one slip element for engaging the casing to maintain the position of the downhole tool in the casing or wellbore. Further, the downhole tool includes a mandrel slidably disposed within the at least one packer element and the at least one slip. The mandrel includes at least one port disposed therein above the at least one packer element when the mandrel is in a first position.

Downhole fishing tool and method of use

A central steel column serves as a core module for a portable washstand. The column extends upwardly from a horizontal foot, and has foot pumps which communicate with a water intake tube and with water spigots. In addition, the central column has fasteners, such as adjustable bands, for connecting fresh and waste water receptacles to the column. The receptacles may be conventional cylindrical drums, which support a molded plastic countertop with washbasins positioned beneath the spigots. For decorative purposes, a molded front panel extends between the countertop and the base, and together with a sheet rear panel encloses the two drums. Paper towel and soap dispensers may be connected to the central column.

Modular portable washstand

A metal deck is received on the front and rear beams of a conventional rack system and is specially configured to receive a conventional nine leg plastic pallet. Weight and cost efficiency in the deck is achieved by concentrating the deck mass in those segments of the deck which make contact with the legs of the plastic pallet, and more particularly by recognizing that the center row of pallet legs carries a greater fraction of the pallet load then each of the outside rows of pallet legs. Closely spaced parallel front to back wire sections define pallet leg row support segments for the three rows of posts or legs of a plastic pallet, distributing the load of each leg over multiple wire segments. Front to back wires with an upwardly opening v-section are connected by struts to the wires within each support segment. Thus a single truss is formed as a part of each side support segment, and two trusses are formed as a part of the center support segment. A wire is fixed to the front of the deck support segments to serve as a quake stop or restraint against supported pallets moving in response to tremors. Hooks and downwardly extending front and rear structure retain the deck on a rack, while wires are bent upwardly and connected to define side stops and a rear stop which restrain the pallet legs on the deck. The deck support segments may be formed as stamped or roll-formed segments of steel sheet.

Rack support system for plastic pallets

A modular pallet system has two or more pallets, each of which has four legs and which is capable of standing on its own as an independent unit. The pallets are formed to dimensions which are a fraction of conventional pallet sizes, such that one pallet alone serves as a quarter of a standard dimensioned pallet, while two pallets combined serve as a half of a standard dimensioned pallet. Each pallet has tabs and slots on the perimeter edges, with the result that two or more of the small pallets can be assembled into a standard size pallet in an interference fit without tools. The pallets may be produced as single sheet thermoformed or twin sheet thermoformed parts, or could be injection molded or structural foam molded. An adapter may be attached in a snap fit beneath four joined pallets to facilitate interaction between the combined pallets and conventional racks and conveyors, and to facilitate stacking.

Machine dispensed modular pallet

A deck is defined by closely spaced molded ribs with pairs of ramped tine entry openings molded adjacent each edge which are tapered to provide maximum clearance. A narrow lip extends at an angle upwardly from each edge, permitting the platform to be engaged and manipulated by conventional slip sheet handling equipment, while the tine entry ramps permit a powered forklift truck to engage its fork tines beneath the platform. To facilitate deflection of the platform ribs on entry of the forklift tines, the ribs in the path of the tines may have curved valleys, while ribs not in the path may have generally square valleys. The platform may also be constructed through twin sheet thermoforming, foam molding, corrugated paperboard assembly. The platform has a horizontal load support deck with side walls which extend downwardly. Two tine inlet access openings are defined in each side wall, with the height of each access opening being less than the maximum height of a forklift tine. Downwardly opening channels extend between each pair of tine access openings on the opposite side walls and are separated by downwardly extending support pads. A lip extends upwardly and outwardly from the support pads on each side of the platform, and each lip has a clearance opening in front of an access opening to permit the forklift times to pass through the lip and into engagement with the channels. The platform may also be inverted to serve as a load cap.

Low profile material handling platform

A single twin-sheet thermoformed plastic part has parallel bands of plastic forming fillets which allow stiff pallet deck segments to be folded after forming and locked together into a support structure with a planar upper deck spaced above a pallet lower deck with openings for lift truck tines. The lower deck has two segments joined by side stringers to the upper deck. Two central stringer segments extend along folding fillets from lower deck half segments to lock into place with the upper deck. The pallet is locked in its assembled configuration by a rod which passes through knuckles formed beneath the central stringers. The monocoque construction of the pallet provides for advantageous stiffness and load support capacity, while at the same time being economical to produce. For increased load-carrying capability, the pallet may be formed with a reinforcing substrate reinforced with a tubular steel insert. The pallet has interleaved step structure adjacent each plastic fillet which transfers vertical loads and also resists lateral deformation of the pallet.

Double deck fold-up pallet

An improved standing valve which regulates the amount of accumulated fluid in the tubing string of an oil and gas well, to an amount that is within the purging capability of the gas-lift method. The present invention provides a hydrostatic standing valve with a floating valve seat which is displaced in response to the weight of an accumulated fluid head. A ball seals against the floating valve seat and floats with it, but the displacement of the ball is limited by a positive stop provided by a rod supported by the standing valve body. When the valve seat displaces beyond that of the ball, as limited by the positive stop, the ball is sealingly disengaged from the valve seat and fluid flows out of the tubing string. The dynamic response of the spring to the weight of the fluid head regulates the accumulated head to not exceed a predetermined amount so that the fluid head can be predicted and regulated below an amount that can be reliably purged by conventional gas-lift methodologies, either continuous or intermittent.

Hydrostatic standing valve

A clip is disclosed for connecting adjacent portions of palletized shipping container, the clip including a foldable base for at least partially surrounding a first portion of the shipping container and a key rotatable relative to the foldable base for insertion into and through a slot in a second portion of the shipping container so that the key can be rotated to releasably join the first and second shipping container portions.

Pallet sleeve clip with visible positive open and closed positions

Two twin-sheet thermoformed thermoplastic sleeve halves engage within peripheral grooves in an underlying pallet and an overlying cover. Each sleeve half has a full wall which is connected by integrally thermoformed hinges to two partial walls. The integral connection between the sleeve walls gives advantageous rigidity to the pallet sleeve assembly, while the hinging of the walls allows economical manufacture and low volume flat storage of the sleeve halves in a knocked-down configuration. The hinges preferably have non-specific hinge axes, thereby providing long hinge life, impact resistance, and ease of operation. Vertical substrate tubes are totally encapsulated into each sleeve half to carry loads from a supported loaded pallet sleeve assembly. To effectively transfer the loads from the cover to the sleeve, sinuous transfer ridges are molded on the sleeves above and below the vertical substrate tubes. The transfer ridges are positioned directly beneath the cover reinforcing substrate to maximize the assembly's load supporting capability. The upper projecting lip of the sleeve is positioned to tend to cause the sleeve to bow inward, where interaction with the pallet contents contributes to overall stiffness. The pinch areas between the inner and outer sheets of the sleeve are preferably oval.

Thin sheet thermoformed pallet sleeve

The high stiffness of the legs of a twin-sheet thermoformed pallet are effectively made to contribute to the overall stiffness of the pallet deck by utilizing vertical webs which tie into the legs through a plurality of special purpose depressions or knee Joints and which work with narrow channels in the bottom deck which extend parallel to the predominate lines of stress expected to be experienced by the pallet.

The high stiffness of the legs of a twin-sheet thermoformed pallet are effectively made to contribute to the overall stiffness of the pallet deck by utilizing vertical webs which tie into the legs through a plurality of special purpose depressions or knee joints and which work with narrow channels in the bottom deck which extend parallel to the predominate lines of stress expected to be experienced by the pallet.
