A baler implement includes a wrap system having a first spool roller and a second spool roller arranged in parallel and positioned to form a nip therebetween. The first and second spool rollers are configured to receive a wrap material through the nip and discharge the wrap material from the nip toward an inlet of a baling chamber. A scraper is positioned on the outlet side of the nip adjacent to the first spool roller for guiding the wrap material away from a circumferential exterior surface of the first spool roller to prevent the wrap material from wrapping around the first spool roller. The scraper includes an undulating edge defining a plurality of peaks and a plurality of valleys with the plurality of peaks positioned proximate to the circumferential exterior surface of the first spool roller.

A system for controlling the speed of harvested crop as it is discharged from a crop accumulator onto a field comprising a discharge mechanism for imparting a desired rearward travel speed to the harvested crop as it is being discharged from the crop accumulator and a speed measurement device for measuring forward travel speed of the crop accumulator. A processor is in communication with the discharge mechanism and the speed measurement device and is operable to adjust the discharge mechanism for imparting the desired rearward travel speed or the forward travel speed of the crop accumulator, to discharge harvested crop with a rearward travel speed that is substantially equal to the forward travel speed such that the harvested crop has a substantially net zero speed as it contacts the ground.

A belt guide for a baler having a bale forming chamber with at least one belt to form a bale of crop material includes a guide. The guide includes a guide protrusion that extends inwardly toward the bale forming chamber proximate an edge of the at least one belt. The belt guide is coupled to the baler external to the bale forming chamber.

A round baler is provided. The baler includes a bale forming chamber having a belt to form a bale of crop material. The baler also includes a wrap feed system. The baler includes a belt guide coupled to the baler so as to be external to the bale forming chamber. The belt guide includes an inwardly facing surface substantially parallel to the belt. The belt guide includes a protrusion extending inwardly towards the bale forming chamber. The protrusion is positioned adjacent a side of the belt. The belt guide is configured to sandwich wrap material between the belt and the belt guide.

A bale wrap mechanism for use with a roll of wrap material, the bale wrap mechanism including a frame including a wrap chute formed from one or more perimeter walls, where the wrap chute defines a wrap axis extending longitudinally therethrough, and where the one or more perimeter walls at least partially define a passage therebetween. The bale wrap mechanism also includes a wrap arm coupled to the frame, the wrap arm having a mounting point movable with respect to the frame, and a shaft coupled to the mounting point and configured to support the roll of wrap material thereon, where the shaft is configured to travel along a wrap path during a wrapping process, where the wrap path surrounds the passageway, and where the wrap path is substantially rectangular in shape.

A bale wrap mechanism including a frame including a wrap chute formed from one or more perimeter walls, where the wrap chute includes a wrap axis extending longitudinally therethrough, and where the one or more perimeter walls at least partially define a passageway, a first rail fixedly coupled to the frame, a first shuttle movable along the length of the first rail, where the first shuttle includes a second rail that is transverse to the first rail, a second shuttle movable along the length of the second rail, wherein the second shuttle includes a mounting point, and a shaft coupled to the mounting point, where the shaft is configured to rotatably support the roll of wrap material thereon, and where the shaft is configured to travel along a wrap path during a wrapping process, where the wrap path surrounds the passageway, and where the wrap path is non-circular in shape.

A composite wrap material for wrapping a bale may include a segment of net wrap, a first barrier segment of semi-permeable material disposed to overlap with the segment of net wrap, and a second barrier segment of material disposed to overlap, at least in part, with the first barrier segment of semi-permeable material and the segment of net wrap. The segment of net wrap may be longer than an outer perimeter length of the bale and may be at least as wide as a width of the bale. When the bale is wrapped by the composite wrap material, the overlap of the second barrier segment of material with the first barrier segment of semi-permeable material may form first and second barrier layers to impede movement of liquid water from outside the composite wrap material to the outer perimeter of the bale.

A system for wrapping a material around a bale in a baler includes a feed system to direct the material through a feed path. A knife mechanism with a fixed knife and a counter-knife alternately cuts the material, and moves out of the feed path for feed of the material. The feed system includes a roll element configured to direct the material between the fixed knife and the counter-knife when the counter-knife is moved out of the feed path. A cylindrical brush rotates freely and is disposed between the roll element and the knife mechanism, the brush having a cylindrical shape. The brush is configured to remove debris when rotated.

An agricultural material baling system comprises, in one example, a bale forming component configured to form a bale of agricultural material from a terrain, and a control system configured to determine that the bale is to be released from the baling system onto the terrain, determine that a current location of the baling system has a slope above a threshold, determine a different location, that is spaced apart from the current location, for releasing the bale onto the terrain, and provide an output indicative of the different location. In one example, the control system is configured to receive yield data indicative of a volume of agricultural material in a path of the baler and to control the baling system based on the yield data. In one example, the yield data is obtained from a raking operation that rakes the agricultural material into a windrow.

An agricultural baler comprising a baler mechanism. The agricultural baler comprises at least one structural member and a first ground engaging support is pivotally coupled to the structural member about a pivotal axis. A second ground engaging support is rotationally coupled to the structural member about an aft rotational axis. The baler mechanism is pivotally connected to the structural member at a baler connection. The baler connection is located at least one of between the aft rotational axis and the pivotal axis and at the pivotal axis. A bale carriage is coupled to the structural member.
