A method and control system for assessing a potential for collision between a body part of a vehicle and a roadway. The method includes predicting a trajectory path of the vehicle along the roadway, monitoring elevations of the roadway along the trajectory path, and analyzing, at a point along the trajectory path of the roadway, whether the body part of the vehicle will collide with the roadway based upon the estimated elevation of the body part on the vehicle at the point along the trajectory path and the estimated elevation of the roadway at the point along the trajectory path.

Various embodiments disclose systems and methods for employing a Sub1G signal (e.g. a signal in the range of approximately 500 Mhz or 800 mHz) for use with internal and/or external components of various user devices. The Sub1G region may provide a path loss advantage over traditional 2.4 and 5 Ghz systems because of the lower frequency in free-space path loss model. Sub 1G may also present less interference compared to 2.4 GHz (e.g., better QoS for applications such as VOIP, Gaming, etc.). In some of the disclosed embodiments, Sub1G may be employed using current 2.4G or 5G Wireless LAN chipset with RF Up/Down Converters. In some embodiments, the Sub1G approach may be used to create a Long Range Bridge, Long Range Extender, Long Range Client, Long Range Hotspot, etc.

In one embodiment, a method includes sending a call invite message to initiate a call with one or more callee devices. In one example, the call invite message may be a session initiation protocol (SIP) INVITE message. The invite message may be sent to a multi-line system that is shared between multiple callee devices (e.g., a key system). A calling identifier (ID) may then be received by a callee device after sending the call invite message. The calling ID is then sent in an update message to the one or more callee devices. For example, the update message may be a SIP UPDATE message. The callee devices can then use the calling identifier to perform an action, such as displaying the calling ID for a callee to view. Accordingly, a method for providing a calling ID to a callee device is provided when a call invite message has already been sent.

A method is provided in one example embodiment and includes communicating initial digits associated with an original request for a call and receiving a message indicating an incomplete address for the original request. The method also includes responding to the message by appending additional digits to the original request to generate a new request. The additional digits are buffered before receiving the message indicating the incomplete address associated with the original request. In other embodiments, the original request is a session initiation protocol (SIP) INVITE message that includes a uniform resource identifier (URI), which reflects an address for reaching a destination user. The initial digits can be partially matched against a dial plan in order to trigger the message associated with the original request. The additional digits are configured to satisfy the message and to connect the call. The message associated with the original request can be a session initiation protocol (SIP) 484 message.

The graphical representation is generated in accordance with the plurality of instructions. A plurality of text commands corresponding to the graphical elements are determined. The text commands specify a plurality of actions of the state process. The graphical representation is converted into customized feature logic that includes the plurality of text commands. The text commands provide the one or more telephony features for the endpoint.

A first connection for a primary dialog of the call is established according to a feature. The first endpoint determines that the primary dialog has reached a predetermined state, and determines whether the second endpoint is operable to accept the second connection for the secondary dialog. The second connection for the secondary dialog is established if the second endpoint is operable to accept the second connection.
