A method for determining a measure of a gas concentration from a group of at least two non-dispersive infrared. NDIR. gas sensors (S1-SN) is described. The method comprises the steps of obtaining. at a processing unit (1), from each NDIR gas sensor (S1-SN) a measure of a gas concentration as a belief function Pi(x), which provides a probability as a function of the sensed light intensity at a specific wavelength, merging. in the processing unit, the belief functions Pi(x) to a merged belief function P(x). A computer program performing the method is also described.

Method for determining a gas concentration from a group of sensors

A method and a device for determining a concentration of a component in a fluid is described. The method comprises the steps of providing from a first optical sensor () a first light intensity (IRA) for light which has interacted with the fluid at a first point in time (A), and a second light intensity (IRB) for light which has interacted with the fluid at a second point in time (B), wherein the first light intensity (IRA) is different from the second light intensity (IRB), and providing from a second optical sensor () a third light intensity (IRA) for light which has interacted with the fluid at the first point in time (A), and a fourth light intensity (IRB) for light which has interacted with the fluid at the second point in time (B). The method also comprises determining the concentration of the component in the fluid, measured by the first optical sensor (), at the first point in time (A) and/or at the second point in time (B), based on the first light intensity (IRA), the second light intensity (IRB), the third light intensity (IRA), the fourth light intensity (IRB), a first concentration function (func), a second concentration function (func), and correlation information (Corr).

Method and device for determining a concentration of a component in a fluid

A multi-channel gas sensor comprising a gas cell (), a light source (), a first interference filter (), a first detection unit () and a second detection unit (). The light source () is arranged to emit light radiation into the gas cell (). The first detection unit () is arranged to detect light from the light source, that has propagated through at least a part of the gas cell (), and that has been transmitted through the first interference filter (). The second detection unit () is arranged to be illuminated by light from the light source that has been reflected in the first interference filter () and then has propagated through the gas cell () before illuminating the second detection unit and to detect at least a second wavelength portion of said light that has been reflected in the first interference filter.
