A method for accommodation of latency variation in a communication network is disclosed. The method comprises identifying that a service is currently associated with a user device associated with the communication network, wherein a deviation between a latency requirement of the service and an internal latency performance of the communication network is bounded, predicting an upcoming reduction of communication network throughput for the user device, and providing a rate adaptor associated with the service with a feedback indication in response to predicting the reduction of communication network throughput, wherein the feedback indication is for rate reduction of the service. In some embodiments, the prediction and provision are performed only for user devices associated with services with bounded deviation between the latency requirement of the service and the internal latency performance of the communication network.

Accommodation of latency variations of a communication network

A method for latency control in a communication network is disclosed. The method includes identifying that a service is currently associated with a user device associated with the communication network, wherein a deviation between a latency requirement of the service and an internal latency performance of the communication network is bounded, and dynamically adjusting a configuration of the communication network for the service. In some embodiments, the dynamic adjustment is performed only for user devices associated with services with bounded deviation between the latency requirement of the service and the internal latency performance of the communication network. In some embodiments, dynamically adjusting the configuration of the communication network comprises controlling the communication network to provide latencies below a maximum latency threshold for the service. In some embodiments, the dynamic adjustment of the configuration of the communication network is based on the current traffic load.

Latency control for a communication network

A first access node obtains () an identity of a plurality of MRSs associated with the first access node, determines () an identity of a second mobility beam associated with a second access node, which second mobility beam is a neighbour mobility beam to a first mobility beam associated with the first access node, wherein the identity of the second mobility beam is determined based on a neighbour relation between the second mobility beam and the first mobility beam, and controls the transmission of MRSs by transmitting (), to the second access node, a request to transmit a reference signal for mobility comprised in the plurality of MRSs, on the second mobility beam, and wherein the request comprises: a respective identity of one or more MRSs comprised in the plurality of MRSs, which respective identity is based on the identity of the plurality of MRSs, and the identity of the second mobility beam.

Control of transmission of mobility reference signals

There is provided mechanisms for performing IAB in a cellular telecommunications network that comprises a first IAB node and a second IAB node. A method is performed by the first IAB node. The method comprises scheduling, in a first phase, downstream backhaul data from the first IAB node to the second IAB node. The method comprises receiving, in a third phase, from the second IAB node, upstream backhaul data as scheduled by the second IAB node.

Integrated access and backhaul with reversed scheduling

A method for configuring transmission order of uplink data, the method performed by a radio equipment ('RE') of an access node. The RE has a RE controller ('REC')-RE interface that communicatively couples the RE with a REC of the access node. The method includes receiving instructions from the REC that indicate a scheduling prioritization for transmission by the RE of uplink data between the RE and the REC over the REC-RE interface. The uplink data can be received by the RE on the radio interface. The method can further include transmitting the uplink data on the REC-RE interface according to the instructions, resulting in the scheduling prioritization of the uplink data.

Configuration of transmission order of uplink data

A handover control method is disclosed for a wireless communication device connected to a serving network node which provides a serving cell. The method comprises establishing a handover control configuration, shared by the WCD and the SNWN, comprising a neighboring cell measurement triggering criterion, a handover triggering criterion, and transmission resource parameters for measurement signals of a neighboring cell. The method also comprises performing channel quality measurements of the serving cell and detecting fulfillment of the neighboring cell measurement triggering criterion based on the channel quality measurements of the serving cell. The method also comprises performing channel quality measurements of the neighboring cell and detecting fulfillment of the handover triggering criterion based on the channel quality measurements of the neighboring cell.

Handover control

A method for configuring transmission order of uplink data, performed by an REC of an access node. The REC has an interface to an RE of the access node. The method comprises providing instructions to the RE how to prioritize transmission order of uplink data. The uplink data is received by the RE on a radio interface and is to be transmitted from the RE to the REC on the interface. The REC thereby configures the transmission order.

There is provided a Transceiver Point, TRXP, arranged to operate in a multi-TRXP cell deployment, where a plurality of TRXPs of the multi-TRXP cell deployment operate under a same cell identity, ID, and arranged to consecutively transmit a plurality of synchronisation signal blocks, SSBs, in a plurality of beams in different directions, respectively, during a synchronisation signal block burst. The TRXP is arranged to reallocate the transmission of the SSB beams to a receiving entity. A method for the TRXP and a computer program for implementing the method are also disclosed.

Transceiver point, method, and computer program for reallocating transmission of beams

There are provided mechanisms for configuring resolution of uplink data. An exemplary radio equipment controller (REC) of an access node includes an interface (RCE-RE interface) to a radio equipment (RE) and processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to cause the REC to provide instructions to the RE regarding a resolution in time and/or frequency domain with which beam direction reports are to be transmitted to the REC on the REC-RE interface. The beam direction reports are based on uplink appointed reference symbols for sounding received by the RE on a radio interface and is to be transmitted from the RE to the REC. The REC may thus configure the resolution of the beam direction reports that are received by the REC.

Configuration of resolution of uplink data

A method for configuring an RE of an access node, performed by an REC of the access node. The REC has an REC-RE interface to the RE. The method comprises determining scheduling and allocation of radio resources. The radio resources are to be used by the RE when communicating over a radio interface in a scheduled TTI. The method comprises configuring, in advance of the scheduled TTI, the RE to, in the scheduled TTI, operate according to the determined allocation of radio resources and communicate with the REC according to the determined scheduling. The method comprises communicating data with the RE in the scheduled TTI according to the determined scheduling.

Configuration of a radio equipment of an access node

Support of mobility for a communication device () being served in a serving beam () transmitted by a first network node () comprised in a wireless communication network (). Methods and arrangements for supporting mobility of a communication device in a wireless communication network

A method for configuring resolution of uplink data, performed by an REC of an access node. The REC has an REC-RE interface to an RE of the access node. The method comprises providing instructions to the RE regarding with which resolution in time and/or frequency domain the uplink data is to be transmitted to the REC on the REC-RE interface. The uplink data is received by the RE on a radio interface and is to be transmitted from the RE to the REC. The REC thereby configures the resolution of the uplink data.

Network nodes (), control node () and methods therein, for enabling establishment of a neighbor relation between a first network node () and a second network node () in a wireless network. The control node () sends () or distributes, to network nodes in the network including the first network node (), a set of reference signals reserved for neighbor relation establishment. The second network node () transmits () one of the reserved reference signals which is then detected by a wireless device (D) being served by the first network node () which then receives (), from the wireless device (D), a measurement report indicating the detected reference signal that is recognized by the first network node () as belonging to the set of reserved reference signals. The first network node () can then identify () the second network node (), based on the reserved reference signal in the measurement report, and establishes () a neighbor relation with the identified second network node ().

Methods and nodes for establishing a neighbor relation in a wireless network
