A hot drinks machine is provided that is configured to perform a cleaning program and a descaling program, both of which require the use of a service function object. The hot drinks machine is formed with a holder for the service function object.

Holder for a service function object

A machine for preparing brewed drinks is provided and includes a brewing compartment for receiving drink substrate portions and a water supply for supplying a pressurized supply of water into the brewing compartment. The water supply is oriented in the brewing compartment in such that it would spray into a user region of the machine if the brewing compartment opens prematurely. However, a safety valve prevents the supplied water from entering into the brewing compartment when the brewing compartment is open.

A brew head for a beverage brewer includes a lid, a handle rotatably mounted to the lid and including a cam surface, and a spring mounted to the lid with a follower that engages the cam surface such that movement of the handle from an open position to a closed position relative to the lid, or vice-versa, by a user causes the user to experience a clicking feeling.

A motorized kitchen appliance provides a resilient fixation of a drive unit, surrounded by an outer wall, within a housing of the kitchen appliance. The drive unit is resiliently mounted in the housing through the use of projections and is fixed therein in the manner of a bayonet fitting.

The motor and board are to be simply assembled in the housing by configuring the mounting as a hollow cylinder with elastically spring-like wall segments.

A joining device joins first and second bodies. The joining is simple and can be well-maintained, between a first and a second body that are, for example, parts of a food processor, whereby the first wall forms the bottom and the second wall is an outer wall. A detent projection, which is placed on an inner side of the first wall that is encircled by the second body, is pushed into a detent opening inside the wall by the force exerted by a connection device, particularly a screw, that is joined to the first body.

A fruit juicer includes an additional switch that determines the speed at which the fruit juicer, i.e., the element that receives the fruit to be squeezed out, revolves. The inventive fruit juicer, therefore, allows the juice to be squeezed out from the pulp already removed from the fruit.

A juicer has a tilting collecting dish that permits simple, loss-free pouring out of the fruit juice. It is unnecessary to remove the squeeze element with which the citrus fruit was pressed and/or the collecting container surrounding the squeeze element, from which the fruit juice drops into the collecting dish. In order to tilt the collecting dish, two opposing projections are provided on the outer side of the jacket wall thereof, which lie rotatably of pivotally in recesses on the inside of the housing wall.

A household appliance, in particular, a food processor, includes a drive unit installed in a housing, a container having a tool is placed on the housing at the point thereon provided with a output shaft. The tool is capable of being coupled to the output shaft when the container is placed in position. Placement of the container in the correct position is ensured by providing an element, fitting together with a counter-element provided on the container, in a region of the placement point on the housing. The elements engage one another when the container is placed on the housing.

A juicer is driven by an electric motor. The juicer is provided with a centrally-arranged, projecting, upwardly-tapering element, for the pressing of a fruit. The pressing element may be driven by a driveshaft, connected to the element. The driveshaft may be displaced in the axial direction. By pressing downwards on the element, the driveshaft is pressed against a switching means and the electric motor switched on thereby.

A food processor having a drive subassembly is disposed in the housing and coupled to a first and a second output shaft, each output shaft having with at least one coupling location for an attachment and, in addition, by the interposition of a gear mechanism, the output shafts being driven at different rotational speeds. The coupling of attachments requiring relatively small torques is simplified in that, spaced apart at a different level from its one coupling location, at least one of the two output shafts is provided with an additional coupling location for further attachments.

A household appliance, in particular, a kitchen machine, includes a planetary gear disposed between an electric drive unit and an output shaft or drive shaft of the appliance and the stationary toothed ring of which is supported on the housing of the appliance by support arms ( ) projecting radially outwardly on the outer circumference of the toothed ring. Good damping of the noise originating from the planetary gear is achieved by virtue of the fact that an elastic element preventing direct contact between the support arms and the fixing locations is respectively inserted between the support arms and the fixing locations on the housing.

A kitchen appliance, in particular, a food processor or juice extractor, includes an attachment coupled to an electromotive drive of the appliance disposed in a container that can be closed by a lid part, and an actuating element for a switch located in the circuit of the electromotive drive provided on a housing of the kitchen appliance. Contact with rotating processing attachments is prevented by providing a locking block that can be adjusted by the switching movement of the actuating element and into the adjusting path of which there projects a locking member that can be automatically adjusted into its locking position by the action of a force and can be moved out of its locking position by an adjusting mechanism coupled to the lid part.
