A process for production of electric energy and CO2 from a hydrocarbon feedstock includes steams reforming of the feedstock, separation and combustion of hydrogen and separation of CO2.

The invention relates to a method for inter alia to increase the energy and cost efficiency of a gas power plant or a thermal heat plant with COcapturing. The power plant comprises gas turbine plants (') comprising compressor units (&#x2032;) and turbine units (&#x2032;) and further comprises a combustor (). The combustor () is working in principle with to separate gas part streams where one gas part stream flows internally through the flame tube () of the combustor (), while the other gas part stream is flowing along the exterior of the flame tube (). The first gas part stream comprises additional air and re-circulated, un-cleaned flue gas from the combustor (), said gases being combusted together with fuel inside the flame tube (). The second gas part stream comprises cleaned flue gas which is heated up at the exterior of the flame tube () while the flame tube () is cooled down. The invention comprises also a power plant, a combustor and a COcapture plant.

A system for generation of steam for injection into a plurality of well bores in an oil field to improve the oil recovery from the oil field, wherein the system comprises a plurality of electric powered steam-generating units, each unit delivering steam for injection into a one well bore or a number of geographically close well bores, is described. Also described is steam-generating unit for the system and a use of a plurality of electric powered steam-generating units for generation of steam for injection into a plurality of well bores in an oil field to improve the oil recovery from the oil field.
