A lubrication arrangement directs lubricant into an axial bore of a shaft rotating in a rotational direction around a rotational axis in a transmission system of a vehicle. The lubrication arrangement has a cup-shaped housing having an axially directed inner surface facing an end of the shaft and a radially directed inner surface facing a radially directed outer surface of the shaft; and a lubricant guide arranged between the axially directed inner surface of the housing and the end of the shaft and configured to guide lubricant impinging on the lubricant guide into the axial bore at the end of the shaft. The radially directed inner surface of the housing has a flow redirecting structure configured to guide lubricant impinging in a radial direction on the flow redirecting structure axially towards the lubricant guide.

Lubrication arrangement for a hollow shaft in a transmission system of a vehicle

A control system, for controlling an oil level in a gearbox of a vehicle, includes a supply line, a return line, a first valve and a second valve. The first and second valves are respectively controlled by a first fork and a second fork of the gearbox. The return line is connected to the supply line through the first valve and the second valve, which are arranged in serial, the first and second valves being both in the open position when the first and second forks are together in a direct drive configuration that engages a direct drive gear selection of the gearbox, so that the return line is pressurized when both valves are open and the supply line is pressurized. The control system includes a flow control unit, which is configured to lower the oil level in an oil sump of the gearbox when the return line is pressurized.

An assembly for lubricating a gearwheel of a transmission includes a shaft arranged to rotate about a rotational axis extending in an axial direction, the gearwheel arranged rotationally fixed on the shaft, a first ring member arranged coaxially and rotationally fixed on the shaft adjacent the gearwheel, and a lubricant distribution ring member for providing lubricant to gear valleys between respective adjacent gear teeth of the gearwheel.

An arrangement for lubricating a gear in a toothed gearing comprising a shaft on which the gear is arranged is provided. An engaging ring with a central portion is arranged around said shaft and comprises a surface facing and spaced from an end surface of the gear creating a gap for guiding lubricant to the gear, and at least one first duct for lubricant, whereby said duct has at least one opening into the gap. The component comprises an annular portion with an inner peripheral surface mounted onto an outer peripheral surface of a shoulder on the gear; where axial discontinuities are provided between the shoulder and the annular portion of the component for guiding and distributing lubricant to the roots of the gear.

Arrangement for lubricating a gear

A gear wheel is connectable to a transmission shaft of a vehicle gear transmission arranged in a gearbox housing. The gear wheel being configured to be lubricated by a lubricant in a lubricant reservoir of the gearbox housing, wherein the gear wheel comprises a first axial end surface; a second axial end surface arranged on an opposite side of the gear wheel relative to the first axial end surface; and a plurality of gear teeth arranged circumferentially on the gear wheel and positioned between the first and second axial end surfaces; wherein the first axial end surface comprises a plurality of angularly spaced protrusions extending axially from the first axial end surface in a direction of a surface normal of the first axial end surface.
