The disclosure relates to an electromechanical rear derailleur for coaxial assembling on a rear wheel axle. The derailleur has a base element, a pivot mechanism, and a movable element having a chain guide assembly. The chain guide assembly is connected to the movable element so as to be rotatable about a rotation axis. A blocking device permits the chain guide assembly to be established relative to the movable element. The blocking device is able to be inserted into the movable element in two different positions.

Electromechanical derailleur for coaxial assembly

A bicycle gearshift mechanism has a base element, a pivot mechanism, a movable element, and a chain guide arrangement. The pivot mechanism connects the base element to the movable element. The chain guide arrangement is connected, rotatably about a rotary axle, to the movable element. The base element comprises a first attachment end, which is coaxial with respect to the rear-wheel axle or axis, and a second attachment end for coupling to the pivot mechanism.

Rear gearshift mechanism for coaxial installation

A system including a base element of a rear derailleur and a mounting kit is described. The mounting kit has a mounting element for mounting the base element to a bracket portion of a bicycle frame. The first portion of the mounting element has a through hole that is associated and coaxial with the bracket mounting hole. The second portion of the mounting element has a base element mounting hole to which the base element of the rear derailleur is mounted. The mounting kit also has a retaining bolt having an internal thread into which an external thread of a through axle is screwed to fix the mounting element to the bracket portion. The first coupling formation is coupled to an end portion of the retaining bolt. The second coupling formation is radially offset from the first coupling formation and is coupled to the second portion of the mounting element.

Bicycle rear derailleur and frame connection

The disclosure relates to an electric Bicycle Drive Unit for arrangement in a Bottom Bracket Area of a Bicycle Frame. The Drive Unit has an Electric Motor Device and a Bottom Bracket Assembly having a Bottom Bracket Shaft. The disclosure also relates to a Bicycle Frame or Frame Interface Unit, and an Energy Storage Device for the Electric Bicycle Drive Unit. The Drive Unit includes s an Integrative Energy Storage Device for supplying energy to the motor device. The Integrative Energy Storage Device can be arranged adjacent to the motor device in such a way that the center of gravity position of the Energy Storage Device and the center of gravity position of the Drive Unit lie within the Bottom Bracket Area.

Electric bicycle drive unit

A rear derailleur is provided for the coaxial attachment on a portion of a bicycle frame rear tail while using an adapter that includes an adapter bolt and an adapter nut and has a dual-arm base element, a pivoting mechanism, a movable element and a chain guide assembly. The reference is distinguished by at least one engagement element which facilitates an indirect frictional engagement between the adapter nut, on the one hand, and at least one of a) an inner first arm of the base element, b) an axial internal side of the mounting portion and c) the adapter bolt, on the other hand. Said engagement element, in a defined pre-assembled state, acts in the sense of a reinforcement of a consequential rotational force being able to be exerted on the base element by the adapter bolt and the adapter nut.

Rear derailleur

Brake mounts for bicycles are described herein. The brake mounts are for coupling a brake caliper to a bicycle. An example brake mount includes a bracket having a first side and a second side opposite the first side. The bracket has bores to receive fasteners to couple the brake caliper to the bracket. The brake mount includes a sleeve extending from the first side of the bracket. An opening extends through the sleeve and the bracket. The opening is to receive an axle of a hub assembly of the bicycle. The sleeve is to extend into an axle opening in a frame of the bicycle. A distal end of the sleeve is threaded. The brake mount also includes a nut to be threadably coupled to the distal end of the sleeve when the sleeve is inserted into the axle opening in the frame e.

Brake mounts for bicycles

A drive arrangement for a bicycle has a multi-sprocket arrangement for a rear wheel hub of the bicycle. The multi-sprocket arrangement comprises a plurality of sprockets with different diameters, wherein the sprockets each have a plurality of teeth which are separated by tooth spaces, and which can be placed in engagement with a drive chain with wide and narrow chain links which follow one another alternatively in succession. On a circumference of at least a starting sprocket of the plurality of sprockets, at least one sequence of teeth is provided at a location where a changeover of the drive chain from the starting sprocket to a selected sprocket occurs. The sequence of teeth comprises a first tooth having a tooth base that is tangent to a root circle of the starting sprocket or lies radially outside of the root circle, and at least one additional tooth which follows the first tooth lies with its tooth base radially within the root circle of the starting sprocket.

Drive arrangement of a bicycle having a multi-sprocket arrangement

Brake rotors for bicycles are described herein. An example brake rotor for a bicycle includes a carrier to be coupled to a hub of the bicycle. The brake rotor also includes a brake track having braking surfaces to be engaged by brake pads. The brake track is disposed radially outward of the carrier. The brake track has a first thickness and the carrier has a second thickness greater than the first thickness. The brake track is coupled to the carrier such that the brake track is axially movable relative to the carrier while being radially and circumferentially constrained relative to the carrier.

Brake rotors for bicycles

A rear derailleur is configured as a hierarchical, at least two-level modular construction system and comprises at least several of the modules: “base element module”, “swivel formation module”, “shifting element module”, and “chain guiding device module”. At least one of the modules is replaceable and handleable in one piece. At least one of the modules includes at least one sub-assembly that is replaceable and handleable in one piece. In an embodiment the modular construction system is configured to use at least one family of sub-assemblies comprising at least two family members within at least one of the modules. Detachable connection interfaces of the family members to adjacent sub-assemblies of the module within the sub-assembly family are configured uniformly across family members for the respective sub-assembly family in such a way that a family member of the sub-assembly family of the module is exchangeable for another family member of the same sub-assembly family that, is for example, of different material, of different design, of different functionality or has different surface properties, while retaining the remaining sub-assemblies of the module.

Modular bicycle derailleur

A bicycle bracket element connects a bicycle frame to a rear gearshift mechanism of a derailleur system. The bracket element includes a first portion which has a cutout for receiving a portion of a bicycle rear wheel axle and a second portion which has a mounting opening to which the rear gearshift mechanism can be secured. The bracket element is formed with a region made from plastic and a region made from metal. The region made from plastic is fixedly connected to the region made from metal.

Bicycle bracket element

A multi-sprocket arrangement for a bicycle rear wheel assembly is provided. The arrangement has an axis of rotation and is designed for coupling, for conjoint rotation, to a driver of the rear wheel assembly. The arrangement comprises at least eleven sprockets with differing numbers of teeth. At least two sprockets with the smallest numbers of teeth are formed in a radially self-supporting manner and are coupled to the driver via at least one further sprocket with a greater number of teeth. The three sprockets with the smallest numbers of teeth are arranged such that a sprocket center plane of the sprocket with the third smallest number of teeth of the multi-sprocket arrangement runs in the region of an axial end surface of the driver or axially outside the driver.

A chain and an inner link plate for a bicycle chain having chain rollers is provided. A protrusion of the inner link plate in relation to the respectively assigned chain roller in a front lower longitudinal end region of an inner link plate outer periphery is reduced, in comparison to the protrusion in a front upper longitudinal end region and/or in a rear lower longitudinal end region of the inner link plate outer periphery.

Bicycle chain

A connection of a bicycle derailleur to a bicycle frame is presented. A mounting element with a retaining bolt is used. The mounting element may be configured with an insertion sheath. At least one element of the insertion sheath and the retaining bolt may be configured with at least one engagement formation adapted for this purpose, together with at least one counter-engaging element, which is separate from the insertion sheath and the retaining bolt, or a counter-engaging formation of the respective other element from the insertion sheath and the retaining bolt, to produce an elastic snap-in retaining connection or a bayonet-type retaining lock, which realizes a positive retaining engagement between the insertion sheath and the retaining bolt.

A bicycle rear-wheel sprocket pairing for engaging in a meshing, force-transmitting and form-fitting manner with a bicycle roller chain, wherein the rear-wheel sprocket pairing is rotatable about a sprocket axis. The sprocket axis defines an axial direction running along the sprocket axis, a radial direction running so as to be orthogonal to the sprocket axis, and a circumferential direction encircling the sprocket axis. The rear-wheel sprocket pairing comprises a larger sprocket and a smaller sprocket which for rotating conjointly with the larger sprocket in a slip-free manner about the sprocket axis is connected to the larger sprocket so as to be coaxial with and axially directly adjacent to the latter. The larger sprocket has an even tooth count of equal to or less than twenty-two teeth, and the difference in the tooth count between the larger and the smaller sprocket is exactly two teeth.
