The systems and methods of the present disclosure address the problem of up-sampling an insufficiently sampled signal of numbers or images that does not yield interpretable data. A computing device may acquire from a sensor, a reference signal and a quasi-periodic signal of a subject over a predefined time period. The reference signal may have a fixed sampling rate. The quasi-periodic signal may have a variable sampling rate. The computing device may filter, using a band-pass filter, the reference signal to obtain a monocomponent signal. The computing device may determine, by applying a Hilbert transform on the monocomponent signal, an analytic phase. The computing device may generate a phase projected signal from the quasi-periodic signal based on the analytic phase. The phase projected signal may have a plurality of data points of the quasi-periodic signal across the predefined time period mapped to a predefined phase interval.

Method and apparatus for providing transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to a patient

An apparatus for applying Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) to the brain of an individual comprising: a head mount; a plurality of magnet assemblies for releasable mounting on the head mount; each of the magnet assemblies comprises a permanent magnet, and at least one of (i) a movement mechanism for moving the permanent magnet and/or (ii) a magnetic shield shutter mechanism, to provide a rapidly changing magnetic field; and a computerized controller for operating at least one of the movement mechanism and the magnetic shield shutter mechanism of at least one of the magnet assemblies to apply a rapidly changing magnetic field to the brain of the individual, wherein the computerized controller is configured to provide one of intermittent oscillatory stimulation and continuous oscillatory stimulation, to induce weak electric currents in the brain of an individual so as to modify the natural electrical activity of the brain of the individual.

Discussed herein is a parametric model for DTI MD histogram fitting, named the Generalized Voss-Dyke function, which is highly successful in segregating NPH cases from potential confounders without reliance on operator dependent region-of-interest analyses or inter-subject registration. The Generalized Voss-Dyke function is useful for managing the imaging of any tissue interfaces.

The present disclosure discusses systems and methods for imaging tissue. The system can reduce the amount of vibrations that are transmitted from a magnetic resonance imaging device to a tissue sample. The system can include a stabilization platform with at least one vibration dampener coupled towards either end of the stabilization platform. A fluid reservoir is coupled to the stabilization platform and a resonator is coupled to the exterior of the fluid reservoir.

The magnet assembles can comprise magnets for provide a rapidly changing magnetic field of at least 500-600 Tesla/second corresponding to a magnet movement speed of no less than 400 Hertz.

A high-pass two-dimensional ladder network has been described for high-field MRI and credential applications. The next-to-highest eigenvalue of the network corresponds to a normal mode giving rise to Bfields with good spatial homogeneity above the resonator plane. Other eigenvalues may also be used for specific imaging applications. In its most basic form, the ladder network is a collection of inductively coupled resonators where each element of the array is represented by at least one conducting strip having a self-inductance L, joined by a capacitor C at one or more points along each resonator. In the strong coupling limit of the inductively coupled high-pass two-dimensional ladder network resonator array, the array produces a high-frequency resonant mode that can be used to generate the traditional quadrature Bfield used in magnetic resonance imaging, and in the limit of weak or zero coupling reduces to a phased array suitable for parallel imaging applications.
