A bracket for a transport frame, configured to hold a hub of a wind turbine in place at the transport frame during transport of the hub, the bracket holding the hub during the transport of the hub and mechanically connecting a holding device and the transport frame for attaching the holding device at the transport frame, for moving the holding device relative to the transport frame, and for moving a contacting portion of the holding device against the hub, which is arranged in a predetermined position on the transport frame is provided. A transport frame is also provided that includes, at least one bracket.

Bracket and transport frame for a hub of a wind turbine

An arrangement and a method of rotating a hub of a wind turbine are provided. A wind turbine includes a hub mounted to a nacelle, whereby the hub is rotatable around an axis of rotation in respect to the nacelle. A rotor blade is arranged at the hub that leads to a torque around the axis of rotation of the hub. A counter weight is attached to the hub, whereby the counter weight has a mass that leads to a counter-torque around the axis of rotation. The counter-torque interacts with the torque during the installation of a second rotor blade to the hub. The counter weight is mounted to the hub by a mechanical arrangement that is rotatable in respect to the hub around the axis of rotation of the hub. The mechanical arrangement and the counter weight are rotatable in respect to the hub into a certain predetermined position.

Arrangement and method to rotate the hub of a wind turbine

An installation apparatus for handling a component of a wind turbine is provided. The installation apparatus includes a base, a support portion and an extensible arm having opposing ends connected to the support portion and the base, respectively. The extensible arm is adapted to move the support portion relative to the base and about a transverse axis of the installation apparatus between a transport position and an installation position. In the transport position the support portion rests on the base. In the installation position the support portion and the base form an angle. An assembly including such an installation apparatus and a method of mounting a wind turbine are also provided.

Method of mounting a wind turbine

A transport system for a wind turbine nacelle is provided. The transport system comprises a first trailer and a second trailer, as well as a first leg arrangement attached to a front end or a rear end of the nacelle and a second leg arrangement attached to a bottom portion of the nacelle. A bridge assembly interconnects the first trailer and the second trailer and is fixed to the first leg arrangement and to the second leg arrangement to define a stable frame suspended between the first trailer and the second trailer for the nacelle.

A support arrangement of a wind turbine tower and a method to support the tower is provided. A support arrangement for a wind turbine tower is disclosed, whereby the support arrangement includes a first connection means to connect to a first part of the tower. The support arrangement includes a second connection means to connect to a second part of the tower. The first connection means are fixed in their position in respect to the support arrangement, and the second connection means are adjustable connected to the support arrangement, so that the distance between the first connection means and the second connection means is adjustable to counteract a deformation of the tower due to gravity. The support arrangement includes a third connection means to detachably fix the position of the second connection means in respect to the support arrangementto support the counteracted shape of the tower.

Support arrangement of a wind turbine tower

A wind turbine nacelle is provided. The wind turbine nacelle includes a longitudinal extension and a bottom part. The longitudinal extension has a rear end and a front end. At the bottom part, an opening is located which serves as an interface to a tower of a wind turbine at a designated assembly situation of the nacelle. A first detachable leg arrangement is attached to at least one of the front end and the rear end. A second detachable leg arrangement is attached at the bottom part. Further embodiments are directed to a transport system for a wind turbine nacelle and to a method for transporting a wind turbine nacelle.

A direct driven wind turbine includes an electrical generator with a rotor and a stator, a hub constructed to receive a rotor blade, and an actuator device. The hub is connected to the rotor of the electrical generator. The hub and the rotor of the electrical generator are rotatable mounted in respect to the stator of the generator. The actuator device is constructed and arranged to rotate the rotor of the electrical generator and the hub of the wind turbine in respect to the stator of the electrical generator, wherein the actuator device is at least one motor.

A method for positioning a large load into a transport position is provided. According to the method, the load is placed upon a frame structure with a substantially horizontal extension. The raising device is placed transport plane underneath the frame structure. The raising device is then extended in a vertical extension reaching between the transport plane and the frame structure so that the frame structure and the load are raised above the transport plane and are held in position by the raising device. Subsequently, the vertical extension of the raising device is decreased into the transport position. Further, a method for positioning a large load into a storage position and a transport system for such methods are also provided.

A transport structure for transporting and/or lifting a large scale generator, in particular a generator of a wind turbine is disclosed. A handling base is included with an upper side and a lower side and a first longitudinal end and second longitudinal end, and an interface arrangement at the handling base realized such that a generator can be releasably attached to the handling base in the direction of the upper side. A method for transporting and for lifting a large scale generator is disclosed.

An arrangement for lifting a tower wall portion of a wind turbine is provided. The arrangement includes a bar, a first holding member and a second holding member. The bar is connectable to a coupling element of a lift. The first and second holding members have respective first and second engagement portions adapted for engaging the tower wall portion at a first position and a second position respectively, the first position being different from the second position. The first and second holding members are releasably lockable at the bar such that the first engagement portion and the second engagement portion are a first distance away from each other. The first and second holding members are also releasably lockable at the bar such that the first engagement portion and the second engagement portion are a second distance away from each other, the second distance being different from the first distance.

Arrangement for lifting a tower wall portion of a wind turbine and method for lifting a tower wall portion of a wind turbine

A system for the transportation of wind turbine components with a vehicle, especially for the transportation of large wind turbine components, is provided. The vehicle includes at least two wheelsets, a first end frame connected to a first wheelset and a second end frame connected to a second wheelset. The vehicle further includes a support structure for carrying at least one wind turbine component, wherein the support structure is adapted to be detachably connected to the first end frame and/or to the second end frame. Thereby, the wind turbine component is connected solely to the support structure in a fixed but detachable manner.

Arrangement for the transport of wind turbine components

A wind turbine hub transportation device is provided. The transportation device includes a hub receiving surface for receiving a wind turbine hub, a first beam, a second beam, and a center part connecting the first beam and the second beam. The first and second beam each have at least one first beam connector adapted for connecting the respective beam with a first lifter for lifting the transportation device. The center part includes a center connector adapted for making a connection to a second lifter for lifting the transportation device.
