A shower device for a toilet seat includes a shower head, a water supply conduit leading thereto, and a carrier on which the shower head and at least a portion of the conduit are arranged and which is moveably arranged in relation to a support construction to move the shower head in a pivoting movement between an active position in which the shower head is located for giving a person sitting on the toilet seat a shower from beneath in his or her seat region, and an inactive position in which the shower head is brought aside. The carrier and thereby the shower head, are pivotable around a generally vertical axis to effect the pivoting of the shower head in a generally horizontal plane of pivoting.

A bed and/or chair device comprises a stand (1) and a support surface arrangement (2, 3, 4), which is divided in at least two mutually movable parts, namely a back support (2) and a thigh supporting and possibly also seat supporting part (3), the back support (2) and the thigh supporting part (3) being pivotably connected to the stand (1), a power means (11) being arranged to cause a pivoting movement of the back support (2) between different inclination positions with respect to the stand (1). A transmission arrangement is arranged to make the movement of the back support and the thigh supporting part dependent on each other, so that, in pivoting the back support (2) upwardly from a substantially horizontal position, the thigh supporting part (3) is initially pivoted upwardly with respect to the stand (1), until a maximally raised position is reached, after which a continued pivoting upwardly of the back support causes the thigh supporting part to pivot downwardly towards its initial position.

A piece of furniture comprises a stand, a seat and a back support pivotable with respect to the seat as well as an upwardly and downwardly pivotable leg support which is provided with a foot-rest, at least one operating means being arranged to, at pivoting of the back support backwardly from a sitting position, in which the feet of the user are resting on the foot-rest, and a simultaneous pivoting of the leg support upwardly and forwardly, cause such a relative movement between the foot-rest and the seat that the knee-adjacent leg portions of the user remain in supporting contact with the supporting areas of the piece of furniture. The operating means is also adapted to, at the pivoting of the leg support upwardly and forwardly, cause a movement of the seat in the direction backwardly relative to the stand and thereby relative to the pivot axis of the leg support.
