A testing device includes a connecting module and a processor electrically connected to the connecting module. The connecting module is electrically coupled with a plurality of communication devices under tests (DUTs) synchronously. The processor determines a schedule for the communication DUTs and tests the communication DUTs according to the schedule. A testing method is applied to the testing device to implement the operations.

A femto access point (FAP) for use in a network system and a communication method for the femto access point are provided. A mobile station is wirelessly connected to the FAP. The FAP comprises a storage unit, a sniffer unit, and a process unit. The sniffer unit sniffs a packet of the mobile station. The process unit retrieves an identity (ID) code of the mobile station from the packet and stores the ID code into the storage unit. The process unit further establishes an uplink local area network (LAN) service flow and a downlink LAN service flow of the mobile station. The uplink LAN service flow and the downlink LAN service flow established by the FAP and the mobile station are used to transfer packets within the LAN.

Finally, the BS transmits the at least one BW allocation to the at least one RS according to the at least one Ack in a predetermined interval.

A method, a wireless communication system, a tangible machine-readable medium, and a communication apparatus for transmitting and relaying a channel descriptor based on a multi-hop relay standard are provided. The wireless communication system comprises a BS and at least one RS. The BS divides the channel descriptor into a common channel descriptor and at least one particular channel descriptor. Then the BS broadcasts/multicasts the common channel descriptor to the at least one RS and transmits the at least one particular channel descriptor to the same. The at least one RS combines the common channel descriptor and the at least one particular channel descriptor to generate the channel descriptor.

Method, wireless communication system, tangible machine-readable medium, and communication apparatus for transmitting and relaying channel descriptor based on a multi-hop relay standard

A wireless communication system using channel access based on a contention approach and method thereof is disclosed, which allocates plural sets of time slots in a predetermined contention interval, wherein each set of time slots further includes plural adjacent overlapped time slots. A channel requester transmits a contention message to a channel allocator at a time slot based on an interleaved method after the channel requester completes count down of a predetermined time, so that the positions of the headers of the contention messages in the adjacent time slots of each set of time slot are different. Thus, if the contention message transmitted by the channel requester collides with the contention message of the adjacent time slot, the channel allocator can parse the headers of the collided contention messages and respectively allocate plural special channel times for communicating with the channel requesters.

Wireless communication system using channel access based on a contention approach and method thereof

Adaptive communication method and apparatus are provided for third generation mobile transmission system (UMTS). A third layer module is provided to dominate transmission resources. A second layer module is provided to perform quality control. A first layer module is provided to perform signal transmission and reception. It is detected whether the first layer module supports a high speed protocol. If the first layer module supports the high speed protocol, the high speed protocol is used for transmission. If the first layer module does not support the high speed protocol, a conventional protocol is used for the transmission.

Adaptive communication method and module employing different layers for different protocols

A method for direct link in wireless communication system is provided, which is applied in a base station with functions for broadcast and time division duplex (TDD), the method comprising the following steps: receiving connection request signalings including position information from a plurality of subscriber stations (SSs) with global positioning systems (GPSs); determining the SSs which can carry out the direct link, according to the connection request signalings; allocating time slots to each SS which can carry out direct link in the scheduling; calculating a relative distance between the two SSs according to the position information; determining an initial transmit power for the transmitting SS, and adjusting it many times; finally, adding the adjusted transmit power value and the time slot information allocated to the SSs in the scheduling into the broadcast message.
