A method includes performing a chemical process to create a chemical product and an amount of heat, and transferring the heat to a first fluid. The method further includes hydrating a polymer in the first fluid, and adding the chemical product from the chemical process to the first fluid to create a treatment fluid. The method further includes diluting the treatment fluid with respect to at least one constituent of the treatment fluid. The method includes treating a formation of interest in a wellbore with the treatment fluid. The method includes changing a formulation of the treatment fluid during the treating. The method also includes extending the treating beyond a design amount, or ending the treatment before the design amount and preserving some reagents of the chemical process.

System, method and apparatus for enhancing wellbore treatment fluid flexibility

An apparatus including at least four different modules, the first module being a treatment conditions module structured to interpret a specified pumping rate and a specified salt concentration. The second is a hydration requirements module structured to determine at least one of a hydration vessel fluid volume and a specified temperature in response to the specified pumping rate. The third is a dynamic brine generation module structured to control a flow rate of a first fluid, at least one of a clay stabilizer precursor, an acid precursor and a base precursor; and a polymer material into a hydration vessel in response to the specified salt concentration and the at least one of the hydration vessel fluid volume and the specified temperature. The fourth is a treatment fluid flow module structured to control a flow rate of a treatment fluid from the hydration vessel in response to the specified pumping rate.

A system includes a hydraulic fracturing fluid including a polymeric constituent and an additive having particles including poly-vinyl acetate in an amount sufficient to control fluid loss. The system includes a formation of interest having a downhole temperature, and the particles including poly-vinyl acetate have a size and/or shape such that the poly-vinyl acetate hydrolyses at the downhole temperature. The particles may have a size and/or shape such that the particles are deformable at the downhole temperature. The poly-vinyl acetate in the particles may be a part of the particle substrate, a coating on the particles, and/or the entire particle may be poly-vinyl acetate. The poly-vinyl acetate may be included in any portion of the hydraulic fracturing fluid, or only the portion of the hydraulic fracturing fluid that is not proppant laden.

Fluid loss additive and breaking agent

Methods for treating a formation penetrated by a wellbore which improves fluid loss control during treatment. In some aspects, the treatments include preparing an aqueous fluid including one or more water inert degradable polymers and an optional viscosifier, injecting the aqueous fluid into the wellbore at a pressure equal to or greater than the formation's fracture initiation pressure, and thereafter injecting into the wellbore a proppant laden fluid at a pressure equal to or greater than the formation's fracture initiation pressure. The water inert degradable polymer may be a polymer such as an emulsion polymer or a latex polymer. Some methods of the invention use a fluid which may have a normalized leak off coefficient (C/sqrt(K)) equal to or less than about 0.0022, 0.0014, or 0.0010. A conventional fluid loss additive may or may not be used in conjunction with the treatment fluid and/or the proppant laden fluid. The water inert degradable polymer may or may not substantially enter formation pores. In another aspect, methods for reducing matrix damage to a formation during a treatment operation include preparing an aqueous treatment fluid formed of at least one water inert degradable polymer, and injecting the fluid at a pressure equal or greater than the formation's fracture initiation pressure.
