A method for improving adhesion is disclosed. In one exemplary embodiment, the method comprises providing a base substrate and emitting energy from an energy source onto a surface of the base substrate at a predetermined wavelength to achieve one or more material properties. The one or more material properties including a surface elemental ratio of Aluminum to Magnesium between approximately 3 to 17, an elemental ratio of oxygen to carbon between 3 to 11, and a contact angle of less than 30 degrees such that upon application of an adhesive material an increased adhesive bond of predetermined strength is attained.

Frame assemblies for a corn row head formed from components formed from different materials may include a frame portion having a first beam leg and a second beam leg formed of a first material and a skid plate attached to each of the first beam leg and the second beam leg formed from a second material different than the first material. The first material may be aluminum, and the second material may be steel. In some implementations, a breast plate joining the first beam leg and the second beam leg may be formed from the first material and may be welded to the first beam leg and the second beam leg. In other implementations, the breast plate may be formed from the second material and may be adhesively bonded to the first and second beam legs.

The bucket is coupled to the at least two support members of the reinforcing structure, and the bucket has a leading edge coupled between the first edge plate and the second edge plate.

A structural assembly for a work machine and method of assembling a node and strut structure are provided. The assembly includes at least one strut extending along a longitudinal axis and having a first end portion and a second end portion opposite the first end portion. The assembly further includes node members. Each of the node members has a first node portion with a first node cavity. The first end portion of at least one strut is configured to engage the first node portion of one of the node members. The second end portion of at least one strut is configured to engage the first node portion of another node member. In accordance with an example embodiment, a structural attachment assembly for a work vehicle is disclosed. The structural attachment assembly comprises opposing first and second connector ends. The first connector end is arranged for removable or fixed coupling to a frame of the work vehicle and the second connector end is arranged for removable or fixed coupling to another member of the attachment assembly. A support structure is coupled to and interposedly arranged between the first connector end and the second connector end. The support structure comprises a plurality of walls with inner surfaces defining an interior cavity. The interior cavity comprises a first reinforcement member and a second reinforcement member relatively arranged to form a structural reinforcement member that extends substantially through a length of the interior cavity.

A work vehicle including a work implement having a left mounting pin and a right mounting pin laterally spaced from the left mounting pin and a boom assembly configured to manipulate the work implement. The work vehicle includes first and second holders coupling the work implement to the boom assembly, and each of the holders having a left holder opening and a right holder opening laterally spaced from the respective left holder opening. In a first configuration, the left mounting pin connects to the left holder opening of the first holder and the right mounting pin connects to the right holder opening of the second holder. The first and second holders are identical and interchangeable such that in a second configuration, the left mounting pin connects to the left holder opening of the second holder and the right mounting pin connects to the right holder opening of the first holder.
