Electrohydraulic pressure adjuster for a slip controlled vehicle brake

A magnetic valve that switches at high differential pressures and furnishes a large flow cross section. The magnetic valve has an armature, which when current is supplied to a coil is movable toward a pole core counter to the force of a restoring spring. The armature is capable of opening an auxiliary valve of small sealing diameter directly and a main valve of large sealing diameter indirectly. The auxiliary valve and the main valve have a common closing body, which is movable relative to the armature with a limited stroke. The auxiliary valve communicates through a bore of the closing body with the outflow side of the magnetic valve. In the open position of the magnetic valve, the closing body is held in a position that blocks the auxiliary valve by the action of the second restoring spring. The magnetic valve is suitable in particular for slip-controlled hydraulic brake systems of motor vehicles.

Electromagnetically controllable valve arrangement

A magnetic valve that furnishes a large flow cross section and switches at high differential pressures. The magnetic valve has an armature, which when current is supplied to a coil is movable toward a pole core counter to the force of a first restoring spring. Guided on the armature is a valve closing member, movable longitudinally relative to the armature, of a seat valve. Also supported in the armature is a second restoring spring, which exerts a force acting in the direction of the pole core upon the valve closing member. The magnetic valve is especially suitable for slip-controlled hydraulic brake systems of motor vehicles.

The invention relates to a spring-loaded nonreturn valve. For ease of production and assembly, a spring element is designed as a leaf spring which is bent in a zigzag shape and is arranged in a transverse groove of a valve closure body. For connection to a spring holder, the leaf spring has a loop with which it is snapped in on a section of the spring holder bent out of wire. The spring holder has a spring ring which is integral with it and is inserted in a groove in a blind bore of a delivery piston, forming a valve housing, of a reciprocating pump.

Spring-loaded nonreturn valve

An electromagnetically controllable valve has among other elements a guide sleeve that protrudes into a valve block, with an armature and a closing member movable inside the guide sleeve relative to a valve seat. The guide sleeve extends through a securing flange, which is inserted into a receiving bore, located on the valve block, and is fixed there. To secure the guide sleeve against shifting out of the valve block and the securing flange, the guide sleeve is provided with a radially outward-oriented bead. This bead extends within a region, for example an annular recess, that is associated with the securing flange. By way of the recess and the bead, the guide sleeve is axially fixed essentially form-lockingly and inexpensively. The electromagnetically actuatable valve can be built into traction-controlled brake systems of motor vehicles in order to vary brake pressures in the anti-lock and/or traction control modes.

An electro-magnetically actuated solenoid valve is provided with two opposing valve seats between which the armature moves axially. The armature loosely holds valve closure members which cooperate with the opposing valve seats. The valve closure members are urged apart by a spring, and the combined force of this spring and of two further springs exhibits an abrupt change which stabilizes the armature in a position approximately mid-way between the two extreme positions. The end portion of the armature and of the cooperating pole piece is so configured that the path of the armature is limited to a region within which the magnetic force does not change rapidly.

Electromagnetic 3-way valve

An electromagnetic 3-way valve arrangement having two valves, each controlled by a separate armature of a single coil solenoid, is described. The top end of each armature has a self-aligning closing element, and the two armatures are held apart by springs acting against an intermediate member, which also contains the valve seat for the lower armature. When deenergized, these springs act against the armatures to close the upper valve and open the lower valve. When the solenoid coil is partially energized, it moves the lower armature upward to close the lower valve also. When the solenoid coil is fully energized, it moves the upper armature downward to open the upper valve. If desired, the armature can be disposed within the solenoid so that the upper armature is operated at partial energization, and the lower armature at full energization of the solenoid coil.
