A handheld, hand-guided cutting-off machine (), which includes a rotating cutting-off wheel, a supporting housing part (), an output shaft, which is rotatably supported around an output axis (), a drive motor, a transmission mechanism (), which connects the drive motor to the output shaft, a flange and a safety guard (), which covers the cutting-off wheel over a covering area. The cutting-off wheel is rotatably fixedly mounted on the output shaft with the aid of the flange and surrounded by the safety guard (), which is pivotable around a pivot axis. The safety guard (), the supporting housing part () and the transmission mechanism () have maximum distances from the output axis () over an outcut angle (&#x3b8;), which are less than or equal to half the flange diameter of the flange.

Handheld, hand-guided cutting-off machine

A water supply apparatus for the supply of water to a machine tool, including a water pump, a water accumulator device, a suction line, a supply line and a valve device reversibly adjustable into a first and a second position. The water pump is positioned downstream of the valve device. A first connecting line, a second connecting line and a return line are provided. Here, in the first position, the first connecting line, the second connecting line and the return line are connected to one another such that water can be conveyed from the water pump, from the first connecting line, from the second connecting line, from at least a part of the suction line and from at least a part of the supply line into the return line, and, in the second position, the first connecting line, the second connecting line and the return line are not connected to one another.

Active and passive self-evacuation of a self-priming water pump

A method for controlling a water supply system for use with a machine tool is disclosed. The water supply system includes a housing with an interface for supplying electrical energy, a water tank, a line, a pump device, a current-measuring device, a water-pressure-measuring device, and a control device. The method includes activating the pump device if the machine tool is connected to the interface and the motor current of the machine tool exceeds a predetermined threshold value, and deactivating the pump device if the machine tool is connected and the motor current undershoots a predetermined threshold value; or activating the pump device if the machine tool is not connected and the water pressure in the line undershoots a predetermined threshold value and deactivating the pump device if the machine tool is not connected and the water pressure exceeds a predetermined threshold value.
