The invention relates to a piezoelectric multi-layer component with a plurality of piezoelectric layers () lying one above the other and with electrode layers () arranged between the piezoelectric layers, wherein an absorption layer () of absorbing mechanical vibration energy is arranged in the layer stack.

Piezoelectric multilayer component

A piezoelectric multi-layer component is described herein. The component includes a plurality of ceramic layers, and one or more electrode layer. The one or more electrode layer has a material structure that is different than the plurality of ceramic layers and is configured to at least partially block a propagation in a longitudinal direction of pressure waves acting on the piezoelectric multi-layer component.

Electrical multi-layer component

An arrangement is proposed for forming a piezoelectric actuator, which has at least one piezoelectric element that in each case consists of a multi-layer structure of piezoelectric-layers, wherein internal electrodes arranged between the piezoelectric-layers in the direction of the build-up of the layers of the piezoelectric element, have an electrical voltage of different polarity alternately applied to them. In the ceramic material, temperature components of the permittivities TK&#x3b5;and TK&#x3b5;have different signs within a temperature interval.

Dielectric Ceramic Material

A method of producing a ceramic object includes producing particles of a type A and a type B. Each particle has a dimension of at least 5 &#x3bc;m and each type of particle includes a ceramic material that is based on a mixture of silver oxide, niobium oxide and tantalum oxide. The method includes producing a particle mixture by mixing the types of particles, producing a green compact by compressing the particle mixture, and sintering the green compact.
