Disclosed is a plug connector for positioning on a mating connector and for producing an electrically conductive connection. The plug connector comprises a guide means and a contact pin. The guide means is configured and positioned such that to produce the electrically conductive connection, contact bars of a contact socket of the mating connector can be guided by means of the guide means toward the contact pin, said contact bars encompassing the contact pin in a frictional engagement to establish electrical contact.

A plug-and-socket connector with an electrically conductive female contact for receiving a contact pin and for establishing an electrically conductive connection to the contact pin is described. According to implementations here, the female contact is accessible by an opening in the plug-and-socket connector. Further, a closure element for closing the opening is movably supported inside the female contact.

Grounding finger for shielding at an electrical connection between a plug connector and a mating plug connector of an electrical line, having a sleeve-like support element which has a first outer edge and a second outer edge, axial connecting webs being provided between the outer edges, and having a plurality of spring limbs which act radially outward and, at least at one end, are connected to one of the edges in order to generate a spring-loaded contact force to the outer plug connector, with some of the connecting webs being interrupted and being formed in each case with at least one contact lug which faces radially inward.

To make possible the locking insertion of not only thicker and therefore relatively stiff cables but also of such thin cables, for example those that are braided, which due to their relatively small cross section easily buckle when stressed in the sliding longitudinal direction, it is provided that the detent (-) can be inserted into the borehole () in two successive positions, whereby in the first, preliminary locking position, the deflection resistance of the detent () is smaller than it is when bringing the plug contact () into the second, and final locking position.

A plug-and-socket connector () has a plastic housing () that holds electrical male or female contacts () in boreholes () next to each other, and whose forward end forms a plug extension () or as a socket extension () and whose rear end receives and locks the male or female contacts () in the housing (). In a plug and socket connector () of this type, in order to lock the male or female contacts in two ways, independently of each other, in the plastic housing (), at the same time permitting the plastic housing () to be shaped using injection molding technology in a relatively simple manner, it is provided that, for receiving a male or female contact (), a first catch () protrudes in the area of each borehole () located on the other, rear housing end (), the catch being arranged on a fixed wall () of the rear housing end and engaging a first collar () of the male or female contact () from behind, and a second catch () is provided on a cover () so as to allow the radially open rear housing end () to be closed and covered, the catch engaging the first collar () or a second collar () of the male or female contact () from behind.
