In an injection system having a device for metering fuel into an exhaust system of a Diesel engine, and a method for controlling the injection of fuel into the exhaust system, wherein the injection system has a high-pressure pump which feeds fuel to an accumulator under high pressure and injectors which inject fuel from the accumulator into the combustion chambers of the internal combustion engine, a fuel spray nozzle arranged in the exhaust system is in communication with the injection system via a fuel metering unit including a control valve and a metering valve and a pressure regulating valve is arranged between the control valve and the metering valve for controlling the pressure of the fuel being metered by the metering valve for injection into the exhaust system via the spray nozzle.

In a device for separating water and filtering impurities out of liquid hydrocarbons or fuels, comprising a housing including a first vertically arranged hollow body receiving the coalescer element and a second vertically arranged hollow body receiving a fine filter, and the first and second hollow bodies are joined to one another via a flow-routing component, both being oriented perpendicularly to the horizontally arranged flow-routing component which has a relatively large volume and a configuration for quieting the fuel flow to enhance collection of water droplets in a collection chamber formed at the bottom of at the bottom of the flow-routing component from where the collected water can be discharged.

Device for separating water and filtering impurities out of fuel

A fuel-injection pump with a rotational speed governor for an internal combustion engine which for purposes of lubrication is connected to the lubricating oil circulatory system of the internal combustion engine. The lubricating oil which is thereby removed from the lubricating oil circulation is conducted by way of a pressure oil line and an inlet bore in the pump housing to a plunger cylinder of the injection pump and is controlled by the plunger sliding within the plunger cylinder by way of an aperture into a discharge bore terminating in the governor housing. From the governor housing, the lubricating oil flows over into the cam shaft space and is returned from the same by way of a return opening to the lubricating oil circulation of the internal combustion engine.
