A transferring device for transferring filled tea bags from a single track tea packaging machine to a two-track processing machine has a pivoting device with a pivot arm and a tea bag receptacle for receiving a vertically positioned tea bag. The pivoting device has a pivot drive for alternatingly pivoting the receptacle to the left and to the right about 90.degree. into a first and a second end position. A first swiveling device is provided for swiveling a tea bag, contained in the receptacle in the first end position, into a horizontal position. A second swiveling device is provided for swiveling a tea bag, contained in the receptacle in the second end position, into a horizontal position. A first tea bag pusher for moving the tea bag from the first swiveling device onto a first track of a two-track transport device for transporting the tea bag to a processing machine is provided. A second tea bag pusher is provided for moving the tea bag from the second swiveling device onto a second track of the two-track transporting device for transporting the tea bag to a processing machine.

Device for transferring filled tea bags from a single track tea bag

A method for flavoring tea with a granular flavoring agent includes the step of removing from a reservoir a predetermined amount of granular flavoring agent. The predetermined amount of granular flavoring agent is placed as a small heap onto a moving endless filter paper strip. Subsequently, a predetermined amount of tea is placed adjacent to or onto the small heap of flavoring agent. The tea and flavoring agent heaped onto the filter paper strip are subsequently enclosed in a tea bag made from the filter paper strip accordingly. The inventive device for performing the method includes a device for moving the endless filter paper strip in an advancing direction. A tea metering device and a metering device for a flavoring agent are positioned directly above the endless filter paper strip whereby the metering device for the flavoring agent is positioned upstream of the tea metering device in the advancing direction.

Method and device for flavoring tea and tea-like products

A method for transferring filled tea bags from a single track tea packaging machine to a two-track processing machine includes the steps of feeding tea bags in single file to a transfer station and positioning each tea bag individually therein. The tea bags are deposited alternatingly to the left and to the right onto a left and a right track of the two-track transporting table by pivoting the tea bags in sequential movements about a first axis and about a second axis, wherein the first and second axes extend transverse to one another. The tea bags are then transported on the left and right tracks in double file to the processing machine.

Method and device for transferring filled tea bags from a single tea bag

A device for packing packs of filled tea bags has a channel for collecting filled tea bags to form a stack. The channel has a first stack holder for securing the leading tea bag and a first stack pusher for advancing the completed stack. A rotary device has two cassettes for receiving the completed stack. A transporting device has a second stack holder and a second stack pusher for transporting the completed stack from the rotary device after rotation into a position above the box for packing. A pushing device for pushing the completed stack into the box is provided. A tea bag feeding device feeds individual tea bags to the channel for forming the stack. Two oppositely arranged retaining fingers are positioned at an upstream end of the channel. A tea bag holder is positioned in an initial position at the beginning of forming a new stack at the upstream end of the channel and is displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the channel. The tea bags fed to the device by the tea bag feeding device are positioned between the retaining fingers and the tea bag holder.
