An assembly for receiving a fluid subjected to fluctuating pressure has a housing with at least two housing parts. A tensioning bolt connects the at least two housing parts to each other. The tensioning bolt has at least two spaced-apart threaded sections, wherein the at least two threaded sections each are screwed into a respective counter thread in the at least two housing parts. The assembly can be a suction pipe or an air filter device of an internal combustion engine.

A valve, particularly a switching cylinder, for opening and closing a pipe, especially for use in an intake manifold for a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine having an air distribution chamber and individual intake pipes positioned next to one another which terminate in a flange, in which the valve is positioned in an individual intake pipe to close or open the respective intake pipe, and the valve has at least one sealing system mounted in a radially movable manner such that, in the closed position, it presses against the pipe inner wall to form a seal, and in the open position and in the pivot range from the closed position to the open position, it forms a gap between the valve and the pipe inner wall.

Valve for opening and closing a tube

A control valve assembly comprising at least two control valves which may be used, for example, to throttle the air intake of an internal combustion engine. The assembly is provided with a centrally arranged, force-transmitting shaft (). The control valves are formed by blades () in frames () produced by an assembly injection molding process. The control valve blades () can be molded onto the force-transmitting shaft (). The resulting assembly can be mounted or installed as a unit. Alternatively, instead of using a single continuous shaft, shaft projections can be injection molded on the valve blades, which terminate in lugs which engage in a rotationally secure manner in sockets in an adjacent valve assembly so that the two assemblies rotate together as a unit. The resulting control valve assembly is easy to install and advantageously takes up only a little space.

Control valve assembly of valve assembly-injection-molded control valves or modules

An intake manifold ( ) for a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine includes a tubular intake distributor ( ) from which a plurality of long intake tubes ( ) extend and lead to the individual cylinders. Additionally, the arrangement of the flaps ( ) on a continuous shaft ( ) provides a space-saving apparatus.

Intake manifold for an internal combustion engine

A method for producing a control valve assembly using a mold comprising an upper mold half ( ) and a lower mold half ( ). A shaft ( ) with premounted bearing blocks ( ) or other functional components is placed in the mold, and the control valves subsequently are injection-molded on the shaft ( ) in cavities ( ) via feeders ( ) to produce the control valve assembly. A molding tool for producing several assembly injection molded components, especially assembly injection molded switching dampers, which are combined into a subassembly by inserting an insertion part, and a method for producing such a subassembly from several components using the molding tool of the invention. The insertion part is encapsulated at least partially by one or more of the components to be injection molded, as a result of which a completely assembled subassembly is produced in the original molding process. This can be, for example, a switching damper assembly , which results from a common actuating shaft . In this way, assembly injection molded components with a complicated structure can be produced, for which a molding tool with only a single molding cavity would not be usable. The individual components are produced in different mold cavities, which preferably are mounted rotatably on a carousel. By rotating the mold cavities, their accessibility to handling tools, which are needed for the production steps, can be determined flexibly.

Molding tool for producing a plurality of assembled injection molded components

A fluid feed duct, which may be used for feeding a stream of recirculated exhaust gas into a stream of intake air for an internal combustion engine. The feed duct includes a hollow structure ( ) into which a feed connection ( ) is introduced via a joint structure ( ). A ceramic pipe ( ) is used to prevent heat from the exhaust gas stream from being conducted to mounts in the hollow structure ( ) which represents the intake duct of the engine. Consequently, the intake duct can be manufactured of a thermoplastic synthetic resin material, since the risk of thermal overstressing is avoided. The feed connection also has a deflecting segment ( ) which is provided in its sides with outlet openings ( ). This enables the exhaust gas to be introduced in the direction of flow of the intake air, so that optimal mixing is assured and the hot exhaust gas stream is prevented from passing directly to the wall of the thermoplastic intake duct, thereby preventing the intake duct from being melted.

Fluid feed duct for a hot fluid in a hollow structure

A drum controller for use in the induction system of a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine includes an induction distributor and individual induction pipes arranged next to each other and ending in a flange. The controller is arranged in a longitudinal bore hole of the individual induction pipes and is used to pen and close said tubes. The drum controller includes a moveable sleeve and a fixed core. The individual induction pipes are opened or closed when the sleeve is rotated.

A device for recirculating exhaust gases in an internal combustion engine, in which a predeterminable quantity of recirculated exhaust gas is introduced into the inlet port of the internal combustion engine downstream in the direction of flow from a throttle valve ( ). A valve ( ), such as fixed cycle valve, is inserted into the exhaust gas recirculating line ( ) and allows the passage of exhaust gas and/or fresh air at a predetermined cycle/quantity ratio, thereby producing an air/exhaust gas mixture to b introduced into the engine inlet port.

A switching unit for closing inlet passages in an air intake system having a plurality of inlet passages arranged side by side in an internal combustion engine. The switching unit comprises one switched and one unswitched flow cross section for each cylinder of the internal combustion engine, flap valves and a shaft The switched flow cross sections can be closed and opened by flap valves which are operated with the shaft which is outside of the unswitched flow cross sections.
