A holding device for securing a shoe element of a pipeline section includes at least two claw members () each having a claw section () for engaging around a support edge (), a bearing section () adjoining the claw section () for supporting the claw member () on an outer side of the support (), and a flange section (); and includes a plurality of holding-down members (), with at least one of the holding-down members being secured on each of the at least two claw members and being formed as a separate part securable on the flange section () of the claw member with a fastening element.

Holding device for securing a shoe element of a pipeline section

A mounting rail, particularly for use in building construction, is formed by an elongated rail member (2) of approximately C-shaped cross section having a rear wall (3) with spaced openings (7a-7d) therethrough and pair of side walls (4a, 4b) extending from and at substantially right angles to the rear wall (3). The side walls have free edge sections spaced from the rear wall bent inwardly towards one another and forming cross members (5a, 5b) extending generally parallel to the rear wall with the inner edges of the cross members spaced apart and forming a slot (6) extending in the elongated direction of the rail member (2). Each side wall (4a, 4b) has shaped recesses (8a, 8b) extending for the length of the rail member (2). The shaped recesses (8a, 8b) are arranged symmetrically to one another in the opposite sidewalls (4a, 4b) and have a depth of (d) which does not exceed the width (b) of the cross members (5a, 5b) defining the slot (6).

A fastening element for a C-shaped rail (30) including a rail nut (2) insertable through the rail opening (35) into the interior of the rail (30) when longitudinal sides (6, 7) of the rail nut (2) extend parallel to the longitudinal direction of the rail (30), and pivotable in the interior of the rail (3) so that a longitudinal extent (1) of the rail nut (2), which is larger than the width (w) of the slot-like opening (35), would overlap the opening (35); and a rail clip (3) overlapping the rail nut (2) at least in some areas and spaced from the rail nut by an axial distance (d), which is reduced upon clamping the free ends (33, 34) of the shoulders (31, 32) the rail clip (3) being formed as one-piece with the rail nut and being connected with the rail nut (2) by a connection link attached to an edge of the rail nut (2) so that with the longitudinal sides (6, 7) of the rail nut (2) extending parallel to the longitudinal extent of the opening (35), it would engage the free end (33) of one should (31) and, with the longitudinal sides (6, 7) of the rail nut (2) being pivoted with respect to the longitudinal extent of the opening (35), it would engage the free end (34) of the opposite shoulder.

Fastening element for a shaped rail

An expansion dowel is formed of an axially elongated expansion member and an expansion element insertable into a bore through the expansion member. The expansion member has two axially extending first slots located diametrically opposite one another and open at one end of the member. Two axially extending second slots are located in the expansion member offset circumferentially by 90.degree. from the first slots. The second slots are closed at their opposite ends. The first and second slots partially overlap in the axial direction, so that the expansion member is radially expandable in the overlapping region of the slots, while the expansion element is prevented from moving off center during the expanding operation.

Expansion dowel

An anchor rod has an axially extending anchoring region including an axially extending expansion section widening in the direction the rod is inserted into a borehole in a structural component. The anchor rod is held in the borehole by a hardenable mortar compound. The mortar compound is prevented from adhering to the anchoring region. Since the mortar compound does not bond to the anchor rod, if there is relative movement between the anchor rod and the hardened mortar compound, the expansion section develops compressive force deviating from the rod axis and acting on the mortar compound, while the compound maintains composite action with the structural component, particularly in a fractured tension zone of the structural component.

Anchor rod

An expansion dowel assembly is adapted to secure fastening plates in spaced relation onto a structure. The expansion dowel assembly includes an axially extending sleeve-like member including an expansion section arranged to be secured into the structure and a collar section. The collar section engages the facing plate between a bearing and an abutment. An axially extending part of the collar section between the bearing and the abutment is arranged to collapse in the axial direction so that the space between the bearing and the abutment corresponds to the wall thickness of the facing plate. The axially collapsible part permits the expansion dowel assembly to be used with facing plates of different thicknesses.

Expansion dowel assembly

An expansion dowel assembly consists of an axially extending sleeve and a spreading element. Tongues are pivotally displaceably connected to the sleeve and are located one after the other along the axial direction of the sleeve. The tongues are split in the axial directions and can be pivoted inwardly and outwardly relative to the sleeve. Lugs are formed on the radially inner surface of the tongues and project axially beyond one end of the tongues. The lugs afford axial support for the tongues pivoted outwardly relative to the outside surface of the sleeve. The spreading element holds the tongues in the outwardly pivoted condition so that the tongues provide a mechanical lock for the sleeve within a hollow space within a structural member.

Expansion dowel assembly with pivotally displaceable tongues

An expansion dowel is formed of an axially elongated sleeve with expansion tongues connected to it so that they can be pivoted radially outwardly projecting from the outside surface of the sleeve. Each of the tongues has a radially directed projection in the unexpanded position with the projection having a dimension transverse to the axial direction of the sleeve greater than the sleeve thickness. To provide an anchoring effect, the tongues can be displaced radially outwardly from the sleeve by an expanding member movable through the borehole formed by the sleeve. In the radially outwardly pivoted position the tongues interlock. Webs connected to the tongues provide an articulated connection between the tongue and the sleeve. The pivot axis formed by the webs extend normal to the axis of the sleeve.
