The embodiments relate to a method, an analyzer, a radiation dose disturbance system, and a computer program for automatically calculating a target radiation dose of ionizing radiation. In this case, both patient-specific parameters and equipment-specific parameters are taken into account. On a cloud-based data store, reference images are read out that concern the same anatomical target region in which the imminent examination is also intended to be carried out. The anatomical target region is advantageously determined in a manner dependent on the clinical issue. The reference images are evaluated with regard to radiation dose and image quality in order to generate a target radiation dose with a corresponding control command.

Automatic dose control for imaging medical devices

An apparatus, a method and a product for transferring security-critical medical data records via a public network are disclosed. In order to be able to transmit security-critical data sections in pseudonymized form, a pseudonymization function is adaptively applied to the data records. The pseudonymization function is in each case calculated dynamically on the basis of a processing context that has been read in and that takes account of the planned user role, the planned intended use of the data processing and an application context.

A method and system for the diagnosis of 3D images are disclosed, which significantly cuts the time required for the diagnosis. The 3D images are for example an image volume dataset of a magnetic resonance tomography system which is saved in an RIS or PACS system. In at least one embodiment, the diagnostic finding are partially automatically generated, and details of the position, size and change in pathological structures are compared to previous diagnostic findings are generated automatically. As a result of this automation the diagnostic work of radiologists is significantly reduced.

Computer-aided evaluation of an image dataset

In order to enable improved or even optimized loading of medical image data, a data type representing the image data is determined in at least one embodiment from the image data in a first step and a data-type-specific default loading strategy is selected according to the data type. The default loading strategy may be refined, in at least one example embodiment, to produce a loading strategy based on additional context data. The context data is obtained for example during an initial assessment of the image data. For this purpose, provision is made in particular for a shared index to be generated in which the context data is stored together with further information associated with the image data of a plurality of objects that are to be examined.

Method for loading medical image data and device for performing the method

A method, a monitor control module and system are disclosed for displaying a medical image from a volume dataset on a monitor of a computer-aided device, whereby, in addition to the image a number of orientation images from the volume dataset are to be displayed. In at least one embodiment, the user determines an orientation measurement beforehand, on the basis of which orientation images will be selected from the volume dataset and presented for display with the image. The orientation measurement can be either based on distance or be the result of an anatomic model.

A method, an arrangement and a product are disclosed, where a multiplicity of nodes are provided which are designed for processing medical image data. Following determination of the specific workflow for processing the image data in at least one embodiment, local, relevant nodes are determined which have the functionality to execute the particular workflow. The image data are then split into image data subsets, on the basis of the workflow, and are forwarded in dedicated fashion to the relevant nodes for the purpose of processing.

Workflow-based management of medical image data

A method and a device are disclosed for selecting at least one post-processing method for the post-processing of medical measurement data. In this method, different post-processing components are registered. In addition to the measurement data, context data with respect to the measurement data are acquired and/or derived. Following this, a structured document is evaluated so that at least one post-processing method, for example an optimally designed method, can be selected for the respective measurement data.

To increase the efficiency of the management of image data in a data network including a multiplicity of network nodes, at least one embodiment of the present invention provides for image data, having been stored at a network node provided as a buffer store, to be transmitted for archiving to a network node provided as an archive store and to be stored there, with the storage of the respective image data in the buffer store and in the archive store involving a reference to the respective network node being recorded in an index in conjunction with an explicit identifier for the respective image data. Further, in at least one embodiment, the index is used when the stored image data are subsequently loaded to ascertain the respective at least one network node at which the respective image data are stored.
