A device is described for connecting in parallel multiple battery cells () arranged in parallel to one another with respect to a joining axis using a contact plate () having individual passages (). To enable a connection in parallel, which is reliable under periodic mechanical strains and nonetheless detachable, of individual battery cells () independently of their diameter and their relative location to the contact plate (), wherein a simple assembling procedure can be maintained and a more flexibly designed serial interconnection of the battery cells can be enabled, it is proposed that each passage () is designed for the jacket-side enclosure of the battery cells () and comprises at least one contact tongue (), which has on the passage side a contact body () protruding from the contact tongue () into the passage () in the form of a cut ovoid.

Apparatus for connecting in parallel a plurality of battery cells which are arranged parallel to one another with respect to a joining axis

A device for breaking the electrical connection to a battery cell () in the event of outgassing has the cell pole () on the outgassing valve side connected to an electrical contact point () at a connection point () via a connecting lead () which forms a fuse. The device, requiring few components and having a compact design, enables a reliable electrical and thermal protection of neighboring cells of an outgassing battery cell against overloading and prevents the spread of a thermal runaway. The device provides a spacer () between the connection point () and the contact point () that electrically isolates the connection point () from the contact point () in the event of outgassing and that retains the cell pole ().

A device has a plurality of battery cells () arranged parallel to one another with respect to a joining axis () and a contact plate () arranged between the battery cells () and having a plurality of recesses () for circumferentially enclosing the battery cells (). The invention relates to a battery module having with a main body () for accommodating individual battery cells () arranged in parallel with respect to a joining axis (), which main body forms a flow channel () extending transversely to the joining axis () for a temperature-control fluid flowing directly against the cell shells of the battery cells (). In order not only to reduce the risk of thermal damage to individual battery cells () during peak loads, but also to prevent the propagation of a chain reaction in the event of a thermal runaway fault, it is proposed that, for each battery cell (), a burst protection sleeve (), which surrounds the battery cell () circumferentially with a clearance by forming an air gap (), is mounted upstream and downstream of the flow channel () in the direction of the joining axis (), wherein the flow channel () extends over a height of 28-60% of the battery cell () and each burst protection sleeve () extends separately over a height of 20-36% of the battery cell ().

Battery module

The invention relates to a device with a carrier () having an opening () for receiving a battery cell () on the casing side, which carrier () has a measuring channel () extending between a carrier outer wall () and the opening () for a measuring head () which has a locking device for a measuring position set against the battery cell casing (). In order to design a device of the type described at the beginning in such a way that a regulation adapted to the inhomogeneous distribution of the state variables within a battery module and within a battery cell is made possible and, at the same time, an industrial production of battery modules, in particular their assembly, is favored, it is proposed that the measuring head () has a galvanic contact point () of a voltage sensor, which contact point (), in the measuring position, rests against the battery cell casing () which forms an electrical pole.

The drive unit includes an input shaft which may be connected to the crankshaft of an internal combustion engine of the motor vehicle, a gearbox shaft which may be connected via a toothed hub of a clutch plate as an input shaft of the downstream gearbox, and an electric machine, the rotor of which is connected rotationally fixedly to the clutches. The components are accommodated in a housing having a radially extending housing wall as a bearing wall which forms a physical separation of a chamber of the electric machine and a chamber of the clutches.
