A rubber mount, preferably a stabilizer mount, and a process are provided for mounting the mount, which is used to mount sectional bars used preferably as stabilizers. The mount is of a simplified mounting type. For this purpose, the elastomeric mount body () for receiving the sectional bar as well as a clamp () for jointly fastening the mount () and the sectional bar to other components forms a structural unit according to the present invention already before the mounting on the sectional bar. Both the mount body () and the clamp () receiving it have an axially extending opening gap (). The mounting of the mount () on the sectional bar is carried out using the opening gap () by pressing the sectional bar through this opening gap into the mount (), i.e., the mount () is clamped on the sectional bar. The structural unit clamped on the sectional bar can be fixed on the sectional bar by closing means (') arranged at the axial ends of the clamp () after closing the opening gap () while the elastomer is pretensioned.

Rubber bearing, preferably a stabilizing bearing, and method for mounting this bearing

An elastic rubber bearing is provided with an intermediate tube, namely, a bush bearing with a reinforcing insert arranged in the elastomeric bearing body. The design of the bearing includes a pretension, which is distributed as uniformly as possible both in relation to the circumference and in the axial direction. The pretension is generated in the elastomer in a bearing body after the vulcanization by calibrating the outer sleeve. A reinforcing element of the bearing includes an intermediate tube slotted on two sides in relation to its axial extension.

Elastic rubber bearing

A rubber bearing with an approximately cylindrical reinforcing element made of one or more insert parts, with each part extending in the axial direction of the bearing. The one or more insert parts are vulcanized into an elastomer of a bearing body between an inner and outer surface of the bearing body. The one or more insert parts having adjacent edges extending axially parallel with a non-straight, mutually complementary edge profile. An intermediate space formed between the adjacent edges of the one or more parts is filled with the elastomer of the bearing body.

A rubber-mounted ball-and-socket joint with stress-optimized bearing geometry is provided. The bearing geometry of a ball-and-socket joint mounted in a rubber-metal bearing is changed such that a sufficiently great pivot angle is guaranteed for the pivot pin and the surface of the elastomer is enlarged at the same time to prolong its life. The bearing is extended beyond the radius of the joint ball on its side located opposite the pivot pin projecting from the bearing. The fulcrum point of the bearing and the fulcrum point of the pivot pin mounted in the inner part having an offset in relation to one another in the axial direction, wherein the inner and outer parts of the bearing are conically expanded. The rubber-mounted ball-and-socket joint may have, on at least one side, at least one insert with a Shore hardness lower than that of the elastomer. The insert may be inserted into the elastomer.

An upper MacPherson strut step bearing for wheel suspensions in a motor vehicle. The MacPherson strut step bearing includes a metallic housing that is pot-shaped in the vertical section, a rubber buffer arranged in the housing, and a support piece, which can be connected to a shock absorber and protrudes with radially extending projections into the rubber buffer that is rigidly connected to it. A radially directed housing flange forms an abutment for an annular spring buffer made of an elastomeric material, against which the top end of a coil spring of the MacPherson strut, which coil spring surrounds the shock absorber, is supported. Recesses, which influence the axial damping characteristic of the MacPherson strut step bearing, are provided in the spring buffer. The metallic housing is connected to a cover plate, which passes over at the outer wall into a jacket ring, which is directed downward and projects beyond the spring buffer.

An upper MacPherson strut bearing for wheel suspensions in motor vehicles, including a metallic housing, whose vertical section is pot-shaped. Recesses, whose side wall has a profile undercut in the direction of removal from the mold, are provided on the circumference of the inner part.

A plastic bearing consisting of an elastically deformable material for stabilizers in motor vehicles of a one-part design, slotted on one side in an axial plane, which can be opened for mounting, with an inner contact surface (6), which is slidingly movable on the jacket surface of the stabilizer and is delimited by sealing lip rings (19) at the axial ends, on which pockets (7) filled with a lubricant are provided between radially extending beads (20) and longitudinal ribs (21) extending axially between them, and which plastic bearing can be mounted in a housing under pretension. In order for such a plastic bearing to uncouple vibrations, on the one hand, and rotary and sliding movements, on the other hand, in the stabilizer as optimally as possible, the ratio of the diameter (DS) of the stabilizer (1) to the diameter (DV) of the radial beads (20) is inversely proportional to the ratio of the diameter (DS) of the stabilizer (1) to the diameter (DL) of the longitudinal ribs (21), and sealing lip rings (19) of a special dimension are provided at both axial ends of the contact surface.

The elastic sliding bearing for chassis parts in motor vehicles has a rigid inner bushing, an outer bushing, and an elastomeric body surrounding them. The inner bushing and the outer bushing are provided at both ends with axial bearing surfaces on radially extending flange projections (8, 9), and a seal surrounding the flange projections (8) on the outer bushing (2) is provided. The elastic sliding bearing for chassis parts in motor vehicles includes of a rigid inner bushing (1) and an outer bushing (2) surrounded by an elastomeric body (3). Both bushings have axial bearing surfaces (5, 6) on radially directed flange projections (4, 7) at an axially outer end, wherein a seal (11) surrounding the axial bearing surfaces (5, 6). The seal acts against the axially outer flange surface with at least one sealing lip (12). A disk (9), which is supported on one side surface by the sliding surface of the flange projection (4) on the inner bushing (1), is loosely inserted between a sliding surface forming the axial bearing surface (5) on the flange projection (4) of the inner bushing (1) and the elastomeric body (3) surrounding the outer bushing (2). In addition, on the surface which is in contact with the disk (9) and forms the axial bearing surface (6), the elastomeric body (3) is provided with recesses ( 10), so that the axial rigidity of the elastomeric body (3) is reduced in the edge zone that is in contact with the disk (9).
