A piece of furniture has an outer construction (frame), an inner body that can be raised and lowered in relation to the outer construction via a body motor, and a leaf (flap) that is movable via a leaf motor for covering the front face of the raised inner body. The leaf is articulated on the outer construction, and an electronic controller operable by way of at least one operating switch is provided for coordinated actuation of the leaf motor and the body motor. Starting from a position with the leaf open and the inner body lowered, the inner body first moves at least partially upwards before the leaf closes in order to close the piece of furniture.

A supporting structure includes an outer body and an inner body that can be lowered. The supporting structure includes two side elements to be installed on the wall at a distance from each other, and at least one cross member detachably connecting the side elements to each other. The supporting structure also has separate fastening points for independently installing the outer body and the inner body on the supporting structure. Each side element has a preferably preinstalled, vertically movable supporting element on the inside facing the inner body, and the supporting elements have the fastening points for the inner body.

A furniture drive for moving a furniture part is mounted in a vertically adjustable manner includes a drive apparatus, which has an electric motor, for moving the movable furniture part, and includes a compensation device which exerts a force which is opposite to the weight force on the movable furniture part. A measuring device is provided for detecting the weight of the movable furniture part. Therefore, the force exerted by the compensation device on the movable furniture part can be variably adjusted as a function of the measured weight of the movable furniture part by an adjusting device which has a further electric motor and can be actuated by the measuring device.

Furniture drive

An actuating-arm drive is provided for cupboard doors. The drive includes an actuating arm that is hinged to a door and is subjected to the action of a spring. The actuating arm can be tilted over a pivoting area that is delimited by two end positions. The actuating-arm drive is equipped with at least one damper that damps the tilting motion of the actuating arm before the arm reaches either of the two end positions.

A drawer insert, in particular a cutlery insert, which may be adapted to different drawer sizes. The drawer insert comprises a plurality of separate trays ( ) each delimiting a receiving space. A pull-out guide for a drawer includes a carcass-side supporting runner and a drawer-side pull-out runner on each side of the drawer. A respective roller is supported on each runner. Running flanges of the pull-out runners cover running flanges of the supporting runners. The pull-out runners have horizontally projecting fins which are disposed below the running flanges of the pull-out runners and which have free ends projecting to below the running flanges of the corresponding supporting runners in such a way that the pull-out runners are secured against unintentional lifting off from the supporting runners.

Pull-out guide for drawers

A fastening device enables fastening of a front panel of a drawer to respective metal drawer side walls each having a vertical web having an opening. The fastening device has a fastening member having a holding plate to be attached to the front panel and a fastening device to extend perpendicularly to the drawer front panel. A clamping lever is mounted on the fastening plate by an axle and is tiltable on such axle between a locking position for securing the front panel to the drawer side wall and an unlocking position in which the front panel can be removed from the drawer side wall. A tightening member is slidably mounted on the fastening plate and is moveable by tilting of the clamping lever. The tightening member is provided with a lateral projection to be moved into the opening in the vertical web of the drawer side wall when the clamping lever is tilted into its locking position.

Fastening device for a drawer

A drawer assembly includes two metallic drawer side walls having rear ends provided with devices for fastening to a drawer rear wall and further being provided with respective support flanges for a bottom plate. The drawer side walls have at front ends thereof flanges that project inwardly and that have rearwardly projecting lugs stamped out of such flanges. The lugs project into holes in a fastening plate positioned at and abutting rear sides of the flanges and to be connected to a front plate that abuts front sides of the flanges.

A pull-out guide for drawers, having a carcass-side bearing rail (3) and a drawer-side pull-out rail (6) at each side of the drawer. Load-transmitting rollers (4, 16, 17) are mounted on the rails (3, 6). The rails (3, 6) have running webs for the rollers (4, 16, 17) and the rollers (4, 16, 17) of the bearing rails (3) and of the pull-out rails (6) are offset perpendicular with respect to the pull-out direction of the pull-out rails (6) such that the pull-out rails (6) are guided in two tracks. At least one bracket (13, 30) is mounted at the rear end of the pull-out rail (6) the bracket (13, 30, 31) having a horizontal web (33) abbuting the running web (22) of the pull-out rail (6) or a support block (12) of plastics being inserted between the horizontal web (23) of the bracket (13) and the running web (22) of the pull-out rail (6). There are mounted on the bracket (13, 31) two rollers (16, 17) which are arranged one above the other and which receive between them the running web (18) of the bearing rail (3). The supporting block (12) of plastics is arranged in the track of the roller (4) mounted on the bearing rail (3).

Pull-out guide assembly for drawers

A closing device is employed in an article of furniture having furniture components including a furniture body and a drawer for moving the drawer to a fully inserted position within the furniture body. The closing device includes a pin member fixed to the drawer and a tiltable member mounted on the furniture body. The tiltable member is displaceable along a guide track in opposite directions. The pin member and the tiltable member are engaged with the drawer is in its fully inserted position. The pin member is held in a slot of the tiltable member. A spring acts on the tiltable member. When the pin and the tiltable member are in engagement, the spring urges to the drawer to move in a direction inwardly of the furniture body to the fully inserted position. When the tiltable member displaced relative to the other furniture component against the force of the spring to a predetermined position, the tiltable member is caused to tilt about an axis to a locking position whereat the tiltable member is locked with respect to the furniture body and engagement between the pin member and the tiltable member is released. The pin member is elongated in cross section. The width of the slot in the tiltable member is equal to the length of the cross section of the pin member, and the depth of the slot is larger than the width of the pin member.

A drawer frame (12) made of sheet steel and having a lower supporting web (26), a vertical web (12') and an upper running web (23) is provided with a separate mounting (14) in which a three-dimensional panel (8) can be suspended. The panel (8) has a vertical cover web (8') located laterally spaced from the vertical web (12') of the drawer frame (12) in the mounted position.

On each side of a drawer is a pull-out rail secured to the drawer and a support rail secured to a furniture body. Load-transmitting rollers are mounted between the rails. Provided on one side of the drawer is a closing device including a guide housing mounted on the body and having a guide groove to guide a plate-shaped tilt segment which is acted upon by a spring. The tilt segment is displaceable along the guide grooves by guide pegs extending into the guide groove. An entrainer peg on the drawer couples to the tilt segment. The guide groove is arranged in the guide housing on a side thereof facing the support rail. The tilt segment projects laterally from the guide housing and has two laterally projecting stabilizing pegs which, in end positions of the tilt segment, fit on and abut support surfaces of the guide housing on a side thereof remote from the guide groove.

A fitting to connect the front plate of a drawer with a rail member thereof includes a dowel casing which can be fitted into the front plate and a hook member connected to the front end of the rail member to be engaged in the dowel casing. A metallic disk provides rigidity for the dowel casing. The hook member has a flange which abuts flush with the front face of the dowel casing and which has a bevelled portion.
